The actual story behind this is that STB wasn't happy about some of the corps who were joining Tso's. But Tso's leadership doesn't care about any of the childish grudges people have in a video game.
As to why they joined DNS of all people, I assume that was to spite us for not taking their video game grudges seriously enough.
I wish the best to STB.

It ain't a childish grudge homes, A lot of the AE guys are insufferable D-bags. Which is something that can be looked past if you are in the donut making business, but not if you want to be allied with people that you actually want to play with. Maybe all of the kids in AE quit. I know a few of the ones that come to the top of my mind quit. Rampage quit... pretty sure Rampage quit. Maybe Zatara is cracking the whip and they love it... Who knows?

LOL Tsos Leadership... Why should STB be happy about others Joining the alliance... When Tsos Leadership needed them, they were all like "OMG STB is in the alliance too" "Ohh Yeah! Hold MY beer" "We are going places"... Then they threw Poison Roses under the Bus... Waged a War against their so called allies, wasted people's ISK which they barely had... Called meeting to say, lets stay away from AE and all that and build our CORP cohesion and FCK Zatara and FA lol...
Tso Leadership yet again says "We don't care" we just wanna hold on to the biggest pair we can grab lol...
At this point i don't even know who is bigger btch... FA or So called TSO's leadership...
Really feel bad for CORPs like Burgeez, Generals and others who hate AE, NS and FA and any sort of blue doughnuts... I know they don't really hate RND but the rest... Ouch... |

Its not that Tsos is a failed alliance
They were actually a pretty good Dust alliance during and before the DNS donut
Then when the donut broke
They let in AE, NS, DDB, Cap AQ, AND TLoD?
Talk about being a ***** and bluing up quick
I mean damn, did it even take longer than two days for all those corps to join?
And in the midst of all this the alliance isnt even protecting their own corps
In the case of DBB, Cap AQ, AND Sam mik
We won 9 battles against them yesterday and not another general tsos alliance member to be found to help out
And Sam mik no showed TWO district flips to Rising Suns
Like honestly there are well over 300 people in your alliance and NO ONE wanted to help you?
Pretty sure they all hate each other
Not sure why in alliance together then?
Hmmm. The Meta is strong with this one...

I think Sam MIK and all of them didn't post the timers on Alliance or Skype chat... Even if they did it, it must've been the wrong format or fonts.... They are very anal about it... lol |

After fleeting with Tso's for the past few days, I just want to say that there is a HUGE difference in attitudes towards Dust when it comes to DNS and Tso's.
Tso's is a great alliance of EVE pilots and they love their Dust bunnies. Dust bunnies freely LFS in Alliance without being harrassed and ridiculed. EVE support is provided so long as you keep the fight cards updated for your corporation. You don't have to pull teeth to get a fleet together for PCs. I actually really, really like Tso's as an Alliance. DNS could learn a few things from these guys.

Don't know about DNS much... Only heard bad stuff.. But you and I might be in two different alliances lol...
Nice PR spinoff though... All i have been seeing is EvE Stuff and drama since i joined them... It get's annoying after a bit when the LEET eve players think they know all about dust from charts and graphs lol... And their gun-game is... LOL |

I'm not really sure which EVE alliance you are referring to?
DNS was... terribad. Many pilots were condescending to Dust players, which agitated and provoked the Dust players to constantly troll them for lulz. It was really, really bad. Hahaha. As somebody who played both games, it was very frustrating to see. The bickering was constant. Every. Single. Day. Most of the pilots didn't care about the EVE / Dust link and players from both games would block each other. I am not PR spinning. I don't do that. Just the honest truth based on what I experienced!
I wish STB the best of luck with DNS though. I hope they treat you a lot better than they did us.

The "LFS" on alliance chat with DNS and the drama it brings is lolworthy...
TSO EvE pilots are similarly anal about a lot of stuff... What annoys me is that, they think they are better at Dust cause they play EvE... And all those layers of beurocracicy and AZZ kissing is just terrible... Everyone is a Leader and a know it all there... lol |

I haven't experienced that first hand, so I can't really confirm or deny your claims. The only thing I can think of relates to ensuring corps maintain their fight cards, but that is mutually benficial for everybody and moreso for the Dust players. If you don't keep your fight cards updated, you probably won't be getting EVE support. If you list the wrong system, planet, district, or time, you probably won't be getting EVE support. That's common sense and I haven't seen anybody flip their **** over it (yet).
I'm kinda curious who you are referring to though.

Confirming I'm extremely anal about voice comm log in names. Do you even [bracket], bro? And bunny is absolutely right, we can't be in orbit if we don't know where to be, so putting stuff on the card is pretty straightforward, and I like to think my system is wayyyyy easier than hand-typing everything into 20 different corp chat channel MOTDs.
I know I'm terrible at Dust, as does the rest of my corp, but we are pretty terrible at EVE, too, so no surprises there.
However, I'd have to deny any bureaucracy claims since I don't micromanage any corps (EVE or Dust), so that naturally leads to lots of leaders stepping up to manage their own corps. It's better to have a bunch of leaders able to step up than a group that falls apart when The Leader isn't around.

In regards to the Alliance Chat, the main thing that was looked down upon was doing "lfs" and "room for x".
That's a fine rule, as Squad Finder (one of the few great things in the game) takes care of that need just fine, and Alliance chat is used for socializing and critical communication.
The bickering you witnessed was mostly amongst Dust mercs, who were not only indignant beyond reason about the "no lfs" rule, but were also hashing out their old pre-DNS rivalries via keyboard courage 24/7 in alliance. |
