As to why they joined DNS of all people, I assume that was to spite us for not taking their video game grudges seriously enough.
I wish the best to STB.
It ain't a childish grudge homes, A lot of the AE guys are insufferable D-bags. Which is something that can be looked past if you are in the donut making business, but not if you want to be allied with people that you actually want to play with. Maybe all of the kids in AE quit. I know a few of the ones that come to the top of my mind quit. Rampage quit... pretty sure Rampage quit. Maybe Zatara is cracking the whip and they love it... Who knows?

Tso's is a great alliance of EVE pilots and they love their Dust bunnies. Dust bunnies freely LFS in Alliance without being harrassed and ridiculed. EVE support is provided so long as you keep the fight cards updated for your corporation. You don't have to pull teeth to get a fleet together for PCs. I actually really, really like Tso's as an Alliance. DNS could learn a few things from these guys.
You fleeted with us like one time... You never did anything with the fight cards, you never were a part of the back end, period... |

You never did anything with the fight cards, you never were a part of the back end, period... I was more interested in Dust at that time, but I have been around every time Mirco fleeted with you. In regards to the fight cards, I never had an issue with the DNS fight cards? So I'm not entirely sure why you brought it up. The MOTD method was a little inconvenient as there was little to no visibility for the Dust players, but Kane took the initiative to send Alliance mail about it (props to him for taking that up). Most of the guys that were in fleet were the same guys that joined and left with RA and friends. You didn't need to be in fleet to see that. Who is actively in your PC fleets when DNS isn't around to FC? Honestly, I don't understand why DNS is so interested in keeping Dust corporations in alliance when most of his pilots are not. You're better off joining a group like 7-2, who can be found roaming MH constantly looking for good fights.
The MOTD method was fine.. The people that needed to know were able to view it whenever they wanted to. There was a bit more to it than that, but it worked out.
And yes, most of the time it was mostly me+MP+Fool+Coolguy+Roman... and the vast majority of the time, that is all we needed. Any more and it drew more attention than it was worth. The vast majority of the fights were unopposed kill mail farms... And if we needed help we sent out a fight card and support came.
Seriously though, the only person that should be making any sort of comparison here is MP2008. I am sure he is thrilled to have more pilots on the regular.
Oh and by the way, if you think that everyone in TSO's is thrilled about dust... You generalize way too much. |
