Your skill trees are too open, from what I can tell anyway. You appear to only have 1 step between choosing your suit size and your factional specialisation, this is not good.
No offence, but add somd more intermediary steps, as if you are asking a series of questions?
What suit size do you want? What role do you want? What faction do you want?
Focus on a tree that expands regularly, not all at once.

This is an interesting suggestion, in other words, adding depth to the noob tree. One concern is what you would bonus a generic assault/logi/etc. for?
Well from what I'm understanding, Assault Suits will have 2 light weapon slots in Legion, like a commando did. So you just give a simple generic bonus
Assault: 50% Light Weapon Fitting Cost Logistics: 50% Equipment Fitting Cost
allows those to parse up the tree, then you just let the layouts do the talking, no need to change any suit stats or anything yet, let the player get used to the role before you start adjusting the suits.
When designing a skill tree you have to imagine that each node is a room, with each door on the room leading to a new one. If you give someone too many doors they will never bother going past that level.
You need to guide someone through the tree BEFORE the ISIS overlay. Think about it with weapons.
What kimda weapon do you want? A shotgun Here is a shptgun, go play with it a while.
Did you like the shotgun? Yeah, but I would prefer less rounds and more damage Here then try a Breach Shotgun, enjoy!
Did you like it? No it just didn't fit my style, I need something faster firing How about the Assault Shotgun? Have a try
Well? It's awsome, though I want even faster Then how about a Minmatar Assault Shotgun? Oh hell yes!
This how your skills tree should feel like a mentor, a friend, not just the Construct

Mass Driver is currently in the a laumcher category, it also has a high chamce of feedback damage, low alpha, low dps, low magazine capacity, low amoo capacity, it's alround crap as a shotgun, it can be utilised in close quarters by skilled players but in no way is it decent enough for it to be considered it's primary purpose.
