Hey guys!
I listen to Podside alot, I really enjoy the EVE and DUST talks they have on there, I love how they've included DUST into their podcast and they've even expanded to make a DUST/Legion focused one.
Pukin really needs our help, he has worked so hard for these communities and his friends are reaching out the best way we know how!
His medical bills are just devastating and I know that we can make a difference.

I've set up a DUST and EVE side fundraiser.
DUST: For every dollar you donate, you shall receive a ballot in the draw for 100 million ISK Dust side. You must donate and use your characters name or there is no way for me to transfer you the money.

You can chose a 20$ PSN card.
BONUS: the highest amount donated by a DUST player will automatically receive 50 million ISK at the time of drawing.

Will donate isk when I get online in an hour, I love listening to podside as do many other capsuleers and mercs I know. I don't know the particulars of this persons situation but I hope this helps him deal with things a bit better, or at least will let him know he's not alone and people value his creativity. I had to say something and i told that.
I basicaly dont trust anything here and thats reason, why i will not cooperate with this.
If that will be somewhere around, i will put money even when i dont have much.
Dont get me wrong Iam Altruist.
But i cant put something in what i dont believe.
And if i dont belive im just out of that problem.
Thats whole story.
If i tell you how much i already spent on fundraising for sick kids, for homeless people etc.
Hell iam even participant in program for kids and their empowering in developing their abilities and atributes for their community and future life, in biggest organisation of coutry where i live.

You still dont get it, i will gladly participate in help.
But not through some isk/CCP/eve bullshate.
What i meant give me direction, whole story of friend and i even put words, money and efford forward.
But not throught this CCP site.
Hell i can ask people at my job to make "window with his story" and if it will be possible i can put it on our site.
But what i need is something more than just thread on forum what is made by CCP (in what i dont after whole that problem trust).
This is what i meant.

Also guys this guy is a Army Veteran.
Hopefully the VA will expedite his case, however it normally takes 6+ months to get claims completed. He does not have time as a luxury right now.
I really hope the VA pulls things together for him in a hurry. The fundraiser isn't going very well. |

What a bunch of SUCKERS!
FIRST, if he is out of work, there is FREE medical from the state he lives in.
The simple fact this guy wants 10 grand is a red flag.
I racked up 20k in medical bills. So the guy needs rent and utliities for two months.......DONE, plus some.
My wife just had spine surgery. Im not on here BEGGING for hand outs. That's just sad!
Did he sell his ps3 yet? |

Maybe if you weren't such an a$$hole it could be different, but right now you sound like a jealous little 12 yr old that didn't get his way.
Makes more sense to not sell the PS3 as it can save money rather than spending it other places on entertainment.
I am sorry to hear about your wife's spine surgery. The hospitals will work with you on the amount owed and actually lower it due to your lack of income, or lower income bracket.

I'd like to just take a second to say that I'm personally not dismissing other people who need financial help, and might be offended or at least put off by things like this. Plenty of people need help, and it's a shame that not everyone can be helped, but when opportunities like this arise, when people who are very active in our community go through something this rough, and we actually have the chance to help them out even in just a small way; it's nice to see people come together to make a difference in someones life.
So, my heart goes out to those of you who may be struggling, or who have struggled, and weren't able to get this kind of help, but just because some are less fortunate doesn't mean that we should turn our backs on someone we actually can help.

What the military does to other countries and what the american government doesn't do for its citizens are totally unrelated.
Despite America being one of the richest nations in the world our government does very little for the poor and even less for the homeless.
My personal feeling is that we should stop all foreign aid until we can get our homeless and poverty issues under control.
We also should have at least a basic level of healthcare for all citizens.
However what i feel and believe means little even to my elected officials. They cater primarily to lobbyists. |
