The simple fact this guy wants 10 grand is a red flag.
I racked up 20k in medical bills. So the guy needs rent and utliities for two months.......DONE, plus some.
My wife just had spine surgery. Im not on here BEGGING for hand outs. That's just sad!
Did he sell his ps3 yet?
It must suck not having people care enough about you to help, considering he never asked for this, it's just people trying to help him out.

I'd like to just take a second to say that I'm personally not dismissing other people who need financial help, and might be offended or at least put off by things like this. Plenty of people need help, and it's a shame that not everyone can be helped, but when opportunities like this arise, when people who are very active in our community go through something this rough, and we actually have the chance to help them out even in just a small way; it's nice to see people come together to make a difference in someones life.
So, my heart goes out to those of you who may be struggling, or who have struggled, and weren't able to get this kind of help, but just because some are less fortunate doesn't mean that we should turn our backs on someone we actually can help.
Push this thread along through twitter, facebook, your corp websites etc etc. Even $1 helps, hell, even just a share helps increase the exposure. Keep up the good work everyone, it's really cool to see people coming together like this to help a fellow merc in his time of need.
