etc, ect, ect.

Were not issues that pertained due to the game being developed on the Playstation 3. Those were issues due to gross incompetence Can't Code Properly [CCP]. The same can be said about open world environments as many PS3 AAA titles have had an open world environment much larger and more elaborate than all of the maps in DUST 514.

Did I forget to mention the fact that MAG managed to run 128v128 battles on the PS3 as well?

Whoever made the decision to press ahead on PS3 should be fired. making a game on ps3 is almost never a bad idea, jus because the system is halfway through its lifespan dosnt make it worthless. anything started on the ps3 can be moved to the ps4, and in dusts case should be moved to ps4 eventualy once it requiers a hardware upgrade to progress but this early in dusts life is not even an issue for the ps3 to deliver the most baisc necessary mecanics for the game in its current iteration. even eve online dosnt require the best pc to run it, it can be run on a pc that is 7 years old and basicly obsolete to current tech, sure dust will need ahardware upgrade eventually to progress but its not even close to that point and to think that ps4 couldnt provide the hardware upgrade that will be necessary to progress the development of dust is idiotic

TF2/CS are not comparible because A) there is no equivalent on consoles b) there is no multiplayer game as ingrained into playstation or XBOX as CS/TF2 are into steam. Both TF2 and CS:GO are on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Can't say I'm all that surprised.

What i think the CEO of "Cant Code Properly" was missinformed about quality of his team and about games on ps3, or he basicaly understand and gave green to put us like guinea pigs in to "beta" from they EVEN had money and ideas for pc port of dust 514.
