So.... yeah.The "dead platform" has the same if not more players than PC on the same games. BF3 on PC supports more players online and better graphics and some additional environments/maps. YET PS3 by itself is mostly toppling the PC, let alone the PS4. Difference between BF3/4 and Dust? BF 3/4 were actually advertised and supported. I love how people like to act like PC>PS3/4 for game success, not even close. Even Planetside 2 is not really beating out Dust 514. TF2/CS are not comparible because A) there is no equivalent on consoles b) there is no multiplayer game as ingrained into playstation or XBOX as CS/TF2 are into steam. 1-800-345-SONY. PRESS 2 THEN 2. Both games have become remedial with little to zero competition and skill involvement. Back to the subject; Who cares? Honestly you're willing to be another test bunny for CCP? If Legion was released on the PS4 would you really be willing to spend money on it? Whether or not which platform has a larger player base, which would be PC by far, is irrelevant. CCP has always been a PC company, failed at console gamer, now going back to their roots. Yes we are being abandoned in the process. You think they care? No. Why should we? This is such a lie though. The PC gaming base isn't anywhere near the size of the console gaming base, I am so sick of hearing neckbeards say this. Go look at any list of best selling games by platform all-time. Consoles OWN that list, and this is with considerable disadvantage (console games are really only sold for that consoles lifespan, not the 10-20 years of a PC title.) On top of this, the performance PC game market is absolutely tiny by comparison. Best selling games on the PC? Minecraft, the sims, WOW, HL2. None of those games require even decently strong GPUs. Most of the 25 billion dollar PC market is based around MMOs, and a huge chunk of that MMO money is from games you play through a browser.
