Good video, but every thing seems to leave out the games trading, especially when arguing which games are cheaper.
Example: Dark Souls 2. On steam right now? Gé¼50. For console in my local shop new? Gé¼55. Alright, it's Gé¼5 more. If I buy a pre-owned copy? Gé¼35, and that'll go down with time.

Well, with Steam you can get great discounts (like 75% or more) but you have to watch for the sales. So, you might not see a big price difference unless you're looking for particular games and watching them. You can get good discounts elsewhere as well. After a two minute search, here's one for $43.
Granted, they are particularly good sales and discounts, but sales and discounts aren't exclusive.
While retail may not have as spectacular sales, they're still pretty decent.
I just think its an aspect that really shouldn't be ignored.

Might be -ú40 for you, but it's Gé¼50 for me, the discount just brings it down to Gé¼40. Some of the pricing of digital games are horrid here.
