I've mentioned this before. Add a couch in the MCC. Maybe a vending machine, arcade machines. A big screen T V spectating those actually fighting.

I'm sorry, but the floor in the MCC will now be made of lava so you can't hang around too long. People don't like it when soldiers sleep on the clock.

I'm against AFkimg my self. However when my team is taken all the objectives and attacked everything on the battlefield. Leaving nothing to do but line up next to One another and try to push the enemy back into their MCC. When I see this line of sadomasochist competing to see who's bullet will get the kill first. This is when I absolutely lose interest in this game. This is where I wish I could set my controller down and walk away. Or maybe CCP could make it so I could equip a shovel and a bucket and go out and start doing some mining. Or maybe a rag and some turtle wax so I could get points for polishing the Nolle Cannons. This way at least I'm not sitting on my a$& in the MCC watching the TV.

I was thinking that you guys could just add a popup after 2 minutes of inactivity that simply states "Press alt-F4 to increase SP gain".
That should do the trick for a little while :)

I still think that you start the game strapped to the inner ceiling of the MCC. An MCC with no floor at all. You can press X, or whatever key now to initiate the drop. If after say 45 seconds, you do not press the drop key, then the MCC drops you automatically.

You cannot. To do this, we are going away from becoming more like EVE. AFKing is an important aspect of the game. We value it's importance in moving forward. It is a way of life and felt that the minority of AFKers on Dust were discriminated against by the community and forced CCP to do something they did not want to do. AFKing is a big part of PC gaming and hopefully this community will better appreciate the gift of AFKing.

What, you don't like driving LAVs into the red line and slaughtering them as they spawn?
You can't tell me you don't even like sniping them as they drop from the MCC.
Any good dust player, when the enemy is redlined, will take out his Logi suit and farm WP.
