You do whatever you do to make ISK and once you have enough ISK you go onto the market and pay for a plex. Once the plex is purchased you click it and select add game time. Making the 700M ISK is the problem. Prices are way up and they are expensive right now. I have been doing two accounts for a about 8 months now. With good mining skills you can plex one account with about an hour of mining a day but you have to have an expensive ship and do it every day.

If you get into Goons or something like that then you will be able to make ISK more quickly by going into null space and stuff like that and some of those pilots will even shower you with gifts if you find the right place. If you choose to play then finding a corp like EVE Uni, Brave Newbies or Red vs Blue will make a big difference. EVE Uni will teach you everything you need to know, Brave is having some problems right now and Red vs Blue is for PVP.

I have to agree. EVE is what you make it. It is easy to get in a rut and it can be repetitive but there are lots of things to do and if you get bored doing one thing then it is fairly easy to go do something else to change up the pace. If nothing else it is fun to go sight seeing.
