I understand that these PCMasterRaceDouchebags don't represent the entire PC gaming community, but there are enough of them, and they are so vocal that they kill any desire I might have to even consider gaming on a PC.

The sheer number of them who have crawled out of the woodwork since Fanfest is even making visiting these forums tedious and unappealing.

(and yes, I realise that there was quite a bit of bickering between players on here before these 'tards showed up, at least it was gameplay-related bickering, and there was hope that our debates would eventually lead to a better, more balanced game)

Basically, these guys make ALL PC gamers look bad, and are rapidly killing any interest I still had in THIS game, let alone Legion.

If these are the type of players that I can look forward to gaming with when Legion is released, then I'm sorry, but I pass. You can all have fun by yourselves, without me, stroking each others e-peens over how superior you think you are.

Let's say you own a house, it's your house you like it you are comfortable in it. Then out of the blue the big bank kicks your door open and tells you to either buy a big house you can't afford or go sure yourself and be homeless.

well this is what it's like wanting to play Dust but you can't because a PC is either not what you are comfortable with or you just can't afford it.

In fact they are vastly outnumbered. CCP was smart to tap into the console market and there is no way they will abandon it. They just don't want to announce it at this stage of development. I disagree with that decision, but there is no way they are going to keep it solely on PC.

Maybe so, but I didn't see any of these console d-bags posting on a regular basis on THESE forums, calling me poor and/or stupid for my choice of gaming platform, because we were all on the PS3.

Granted, I do see a lot of console flaming on other forums for multi-platform games, but there was never a decision involved as to whether or not I should join them, or stay where I am, since those games are available to both.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that, given the choice of getting a PC and playing Legion with these clowns, or just saying F-it and finding something else to play, these guys seem to be doing everything in their power to make my choice an easy one.

It would be effectively suicide to leave the console market behind completely, but then again you can see why they want to develop it on PC first, home turf and all that!

I have this impression as well, if Legion really moves forward, it will be first on PC and latter on maybe a PS4 port as it is pretty much a specialized PC this generation with other software over it.

But I would like them to uopgrade from UE3 to UE4, to make things easier on the long road.

They should most definitely move to U4, the engine will publish the game on multiple formats, FOR YOU. In addition it has most of the capabilities the CCP U3 Hybrid, built in, I personally would suggesf they move over as quickly as possible.
