I have this impression as well, if Legion really moves forward, it will be first on PC and latter on maybe a PS4 port as it is pretty much a specialized PC this generation with other software over it.

But I would like them to uopgrade from UE3 to UE4, to make things easier on the long road.

They should most definitely move to U4, the engine will publish the game on multiple formats, FOR YOU. In addition it has most of the capabilities the CCP U3 Hybrid, built in, I personally would suggesf they move over as quickly as possible.

The problem with them switching platforms I think is this, and it would maybe be true even if PC isnt involved. The game assumes a connection with EVE. IF all platforms were to have this connection, I would expect it to allow for cross platform play, because then they cannot isolate the PS4 from the PS3 from the PC as long as player interactions go. Because the multiplayer nature of the game assumes we are all at the same universe, not at multiple, isolated universes. So, even if they were to move from the PS3 directly to the PS4, that could mean people might be forced to upgrade to a PS4 (after all its a superior hardware from it, and suposedly wouldnt be able to harbour Legion ), wich most likely would perhaps make people also unhappy and theis PS3 would be discontinued. So, idk, I hope they know what they are doing this time, and stick to it.
