I agree that theres a lot of PC douch bags, but dont close your eyes to the equal ammount of Console douchbags either.

Maybe so, but I didn't see any of these console d-bags posting on a regular basis on THESE forums, calling me poor and/or stupid for my choice of gaming platform, because we were all on the PS3. Granted, I do see a lot of console flaming on other forums for multi-platform games, but there was never a decision involved as to whether or not I should join them, or stay where I am, since those games are available to both. I guess what I'm trying to say is that, given the choice of getting a PC and playing Legion with these clowns, or just saying F-it and finding something else to play, these guys seem to be doing everything in their power to make my choice an easy one.
Well i see them everywhere. Since Legion was announced, at any thread there people were like "ok, PC`s it is", theres a fight for dominance, and on both sides theres people attacking each other to see who have a bigger ****.
You own post proves that, saying that the PC community is bad and the console one is like rainbows and flowers.
I can tell that from personal experience, console community is as bad as the PC community.
It really goes down to what games you play and what kind of people they attract, more than it has to do with what platform they play on.
Last online console game I played as CoD-Ghots... there were good people, just as there as elitist bad mouthed people. |

I have this impression as well, if Legion really moves forward, it will be first on PC and latter on maybe a PS4 port as it is pretty much a specialized PC this generation with other software over it.
But I would like them to uopgrade from UE3 to UE4, to make things easier on the long road. |

In addition it has most of the capabilities the CCP U3 Hybrid, built in, I personally would suggesf they move over as quickly as possible.
The problem with them switching platforms I think is this, and it would maybe be true even if PC isnt involved.
The game assumes a connection with EVE. IF all platforms were to have this connection, I would expect it to allow for cross platform play, because then they cannot isolate the PS4 from the PS3 from the PC as long as player interactions go.
Because the multiplayer nature of the game assumes we are all at the same universe, not at multiple, isolated universes.
So, even if they were to move from the PS3 directly to the PS4, that could mean people might be forced to upgrade to a PS4 (after all its a superior hardware from it, and suposedly wouldnt be able to harbour Legion ), wich most likely would perhaps make people also unhappy and theis PS3 would be discontinued.
So, idk, I hope they know what they are doing this time, and stick to it. |
