I also have a ps4.
It cost -ú450. I then got bf4 for -ú39.99, you then have to buy premium which was -ú59.99 IF you really want the other 60% of the multiplayer experience which of course, I got.
I got resogun which was -ú12.99-15.99. It boasted some graphical amazement but it was a re hashed side scroll space ship shooter.............
I got ff14, -ú39.99 or -ú29.99+ sub, unsubscribed within half hour. Not actually a massive open world, people split by region and limited to 60 per server with no multiplayer. Why the hell that game is online is beyond me.
Of course down the line there will be other games, each costing around -ú49.99.
Not only that but later iterations of the same mind numbingly boring tedious sht. All of that I spent I consider wasted. Console games really don't have much depth or longevity so to the guys who are moaning about having to buy a PC and stating they are going ps4, actually think about how badly milked you get on console.
Not only that but a PC can do far more than a console. You also do not have to play like you are at a desk. Keyboard on lap with mouse on a mat next to the leg on the couch. Rather than paying around -ú450+ every now and then, it would cost just a bit for an upgrade.
Now let's look at the actual milking list over a period of 18 ish years I have consciously been gaming, from a wee ladlad to the horrible cnt I am today lady's and gentlemen.
PC GAMING
3 PCs owned, generally got most games for free (yeeargh for life ye scurvy swine). Even paying though, PC games are not that much and really are really really actually polished usually folks!, really!. I'd say I paid for roughly 10 games.
CONSOLE GAMING
*TIME WARP* SNES, Sega, Nintendo 64,Dreamcast, ps1, ps2, Xbox,ps3 and ps4. I could not count all the games iv bought or even factored in the gameboy and gameboy colour and sequels etc of games.
In the long run, with consoles you end up paying more for stuff that lasts half the time if that on every level and eventually you end up chucking it all away or it ends up chucked away. Not only that but it always has and always will be years behind.
When do you think we'll see a 32 GB of RAM console?, how much will that cost YOU when the PC guy spent -ú100 for an upgrade?.
Tldr: Get a PC, consoles will always be behind and milk you for triple as much.

he's right you know, my gaming PC from 2011 cost me -ú860, it will do just fine at running Watch Dogs. I've probably spent a couple thousand in that time on console games. That's mainly old school collecting but still, PCs are cheaper, if you pirate? Is that the message we're giving here?
No. You buy a PC to always play games in stunning high quality at 60 frames per second in 1080p resolution, I barely play my PS3 now, as soon as I saw the glory of PC I didn't want to go back, I would clean my shiny PC whilst the peasant that is the console gathered dust. Until ironically DUST came along and then I played it quite a bit.
TL;DR, PCs are glorious, I use a DS3 controller, wirelessly if I choose, and games are 1000x times better than on console, consoles have exclusives, that's about it!

People also forget that you can do what you want with a PC, customise it, aim bots, hacks if your a scumbag. Use a variety of controllers, different operating systems to suit the user etc.
I do not condone aim bots and stuff, I was just pointing that out to the glitchers and exploiters.

I find it funny that you would so openly say "PC has a huge advantage because you can pirate the games easier!" That is like saying "the neighbor to the right has a better car than the neighbor to the left because he keeps the keys in the ignition so I can drive without having to hotwire it."
A console and a PC are just platforms. It is the game company's that will screw you as fast and as hard as they can regardless of what platform that is. No matter the platforms, new games run the same price; about 60 dollar US. That isn't magically different just because it is a PC game or a console game. My family has always been a bunch of nerds so we have stayed in computers and console stuff for a long time. Having played with both all my life, they all have their advantages and disadvantages. Plug in and play versus pure might and versatility.
It is nice being able to plug in my PS2 and play some Kingdom Hearts in about 5 minutes between pulling it out of the closet, setting it up, and turning it on. It is also nice being able to have things like EVE.

Specialized consoles are far faster than "Jack of all trades" Computers. As processing speeds increase and specialized functions start becoming more potent than generic functions, I would not be surprised to see consoles excel in almost every field.
Currently the only benefit a PC has is it's Graphics card. Which is made for images on a flat monitor... So, what is going to happen in the future when 3D systems start cropping up? Computer graphics processors WILL hit a divide, with one set being faster at flat screen presentation, and another being faster at dual perspective presentation... etc etc... Same thing is happening with input methods. Currently the PC has the most precise input methods because of the mouse, but consoles are starting to gain gesture recognition. Pointing at the screen may become faster in the long run for adjustments than ol' clicky over there.
That's 2 regions that development is diverging. Where will a PC stand at the end of this? One of the largest selling points for computers, that keeps the desktop variant prices low, are businesses! If businesses keep the flat screens as a "Professional" look, but home systems start to verge with 3-D venues, you can bet that the Price of home computers may rise, but consoles may stay at about the same ratio, because they have to custom order their components anyway.
Even now, you can begin to see the difference between specialized performance and "Jack of All" but only at startup. For example, I have a game on a console, and I have a game on the PC. I turn both systems on at the same time, a few seconds later I've got my game for the Console, but the PC is still loading all the background hurdles... Then, about a minute later, the game starts up.

What? Using the computer platform isn't using a jack of all trades. You will be able to custimize EVERYTHING on your computer to whatever you want it to be. There is NO limitation. Well, there is. It's your intelligence.
