You love her, and she loves you. She even tells you so, and often. You have the greatest time together and you assume that you'll spend the rest of your lives together in blissful happiness.
One day, she comes to you and announces, "I'm moving out of this crappy podunk town because I can't take it here anymore. There's just no opportunities here. There's nothing to do" And then she leaves you high and dry.
You feel devastated of course, and blame her for everything. You even blame her for all the little niggling ways that maybe your relationship wasn't quite as nice as you originally thought, even though deep down you know it really wasn't her fault and that she probably deserves better than you. Still though, you miss her, and really - what does that damn big city have that isn't here in your lovely town anyway?
Then, out of the blue a few days later, she phones you up with a message. She says "You know, about this new town, I love it and I'm going to spend my time working out, and studying and learning all kinds of new culture. In short, I'm going to be getting better and more attractive and interesting to you day by day. Oh, and you can come play with me anytime you like, for free even. Now, if you want to buy me lunch or something, that's nice, but you really don't have to. The only thing is, you have to come to my new town to visit me because I just can't stand it in that little, run down town anymore."
Welcome to Legion. |

Welcome to Legion. So true. But don't forget that she is going to want a monthly subscription fee from you. So I guess she's a hooker now. Just sayin'. Munch
I don't believe any subscription has been announced.

Munch I don't believe any subscription has been announced. I don't believe free-to-play has been announced. CCP is a company and AUR sales isn't paying the freight. EVE is all about subscriptions. Legion will be, too. Valkyrie will be, too. (If it isn't already - I'm too lazy to check). Mark my words. Munch
I'll mark them as wrong until proven otherwise. |

You know personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a subscription. It would keep development going better and do a lot to get rid of the freeloaders/ rif raf.
Still though, none has been announced. |

Welcome to Legion. Few missing tidbits. (1) Girlfriend, against your wishes, chose this crappy podunk town. (2) Girlfriend continually refused to move and constantly reassured you that Podunk town was going to work out. (3) How she actually decided to break the news to you. Hell yeah, I'd blame her. Actually, she was born there. It's you who chose to stay. |

Some of you guys try so hard, and focus so much on being negative, that one day, you won't know how to look at the world any other way.

I call it as I see it.
Yep. making my point for me.
Anyway, the point here with the entire thread is to point out how silly this whole thing is. You guys are really acting like love-spurned 13 year olds :) |

It's interesting to see all the rage, despite the obvious benefits :) And yeah, the trip costs some money, but you know you'd at least think about it instead of raging like crybabies. |
