DUST Search - Will the PC community care for legion as PS3 community cared for dus...

People didn't discriminate anyone because of hardware differences. The Overall ffxiv community was friendly, helpful , and good.

I could throw in the dc universe online community but nah that community is filled to the brim with assholes.

But the level of arrogance and elitism over every little detail in PC communities is something I would prefer distance from. Too many posts by hurt players demand that they want to see DUST continue and grow on the PS3, when it's impossible to grow the game as we imagine it to be on a console that is on the tail end of tech. The polar nature of arguments comes from the oversimplification that the game started on console and should remain on console. EA can do it, why can't CCP? I mean what we have here is the FPS community (notoriously bad) on a console (notoriously bad) for a F2P game (notoriously bad). We'll still have the FPS and F2P parts, so it probably won't be much better, but I expect it to be better. The PC acts as a natural filter to some degree :) At least we'll likely have less ranty 12 year olds trying to discuss proper business methods and proper balance.

It's funny that you blame the PC players for being elitist, but you don't blame the console players for being dumbasses. It goes hand in hand. You can't really have one without the other.
