Honestly, it'll be pretty impossible for it to be worse.
I mean what we have here is the FPS community (notoriously bad) on a console (notoriously bad) for a F2P game (notoriously bad). We'll still have the FPS and F2P parts, so it probably won't be much better, but I expect it to be better. The PC acts as a natural filter to some degree :)
At least we'll likely have less ranty 12 year olds trying to discuss proper business methods and proper balance. |

Heh, you guys crack me up. You know that this is the last generation of dedicated consoles, right? Or do you not see that train coming just like you didn't see the inevitable transition of Dust to Legion?

Now when i was playing ffxiv i noticed some elitism on the forums now of course there is not as much elitism on there as there is on here but anyway; in the game i rarely saw any elitism (at least on my server Goblin but i heard similar things about other server). People didn't discriminate anyone because of hardware differences. The Overall ffxiv community was friendly, helpful , and good.
I could throw in the dc universe online community but nah that community is filled to the brim with assholes.
It's funny that you blame the PC players for being elitist, but you don't blame the console players for being dumbasses. It goes hand in hand. You can't really have one without the other. |

Perfect example of what i just mentioned above. This person obviously did not read the part i wrote about the console community. He just read the pc elitist part got mad, thinks im blaming someone which im not, and replied calling console people dumb asses.
Oh, I read the part where you said that the console people varied from good to terrible, but the PC people were all elitist. |
