I don't consider choosing to pay for something of my own free will as being stolen from. I'm not sure I would consider anything I purchased before October/pre-EA-man to be "stolen," but everything after October/post-EA-man when it was already decided upon that Dust was done and Legion was the only hope of the original vision moving forward, then yeah it sure feels like the money I spent on boosters for the events was stolen from me. I spent that money under the impression that my progress would survive for years down the road despite CCP knowing full well it wouldn't. The difference with before the EA man came was that CCP were also still under the impression Dust was going to keep on moving forward.
And yeah yeah say what you want about CCP "trying their best" to make sure our progress isn't forgotten in Legion, until I hear them confirm exactly how they plan to do that then my money feels as good as stolen.

I spent $150 on what I was promised to be a long-term game Quite simply there was a breach of contract Exactly. Of course, I'll state again that before the EA man came I wouldn't really consider it money stolen. Sure they may have promised a long term goal, but as a customer you show understand that nothing in this industry can be guaranteed. So really, you're giving your money to support CCP under the conditions that they work towards that goal of making their product last long term.
Now, after the EA man came we were still giving our money to support CCP but they were no longer working towards that goal and knew full well, so at that point we were flat out being lied to and misdirected. Heck, even after the EA man came in you have CCP Praetorian say "We're laser focused on PS3" which was a flat out lie even at the time he said it. And sure it has since been revealed that CCP was really angry that Praetorian said that, but that's something you should of corrected and let your consumers know 7 months ago, not after the fact. And really from the moment they decided that they would no longer work for the long term sustainability of Dust 514 they should of let their consumers know that they are no longer able to meet their goal. So really, the term "steal" isn't that far fetched for everything after October.

You attempt to discredit the OP has failed due to a terrible choice of analogy.

You attempt to discredit the OP has failed due to a terrible choice of analogy. oh why's that? also not really discrediting giving my opinion some may believe they have had their money stolen, but the end of the day I get more play value out of every dollar with dust then I get with any triple A title I buy. dust will be around for another 2 years, and it will never be supported by it's devs again like mag, the shoe seems to fit to me. MAG was never pitched as a long term decade-spanning product. No one from Sony or Zipper told you they were laser focused on continuing work on the PS3 while in fact worked on porting the same game to PC (oops, it has a different name so it's not the same game ) and ending that long term plan, but still happily charged you for game-currency under the impression that the long term plan was still there.
