You do know that Sony probably had the go ahead from CCP for this, right?
I doubt Sony would open themselves up to a potential lawsuit from CCP just to give players some random items in a game from a company they supposedly hate.

Regardless there is no post about it anywhere. i bet it was Sony's idea, and since CCP couldn't take credit they are too damn embarrassed to talk about it. That, or maybe since it is Sony's marketplace they reserve the right to do things like this without the Dev's approval if they see fit.

Yea, my thing though is that it's a sale coming directly from CCP. Sony doesn't own the content, they just own the right market that content, and take their cut from it.
Unless Sony paid CCP in advance for all digital content, then giving it away would be blatant theft.

Just searched it and it is telling me it is $9.99. Guess I missed out.
EDIT: Found it. Got to select the 9.99 version then hit the dropdown and hit the free version. This is definitely a screw up on Sony's part.

After going through the process to claim it I can say that it is most likely a screw up on Sony's part. It seems clear that they meant that drop down to be the option to select the free (and non tactical version) option there.
This glitch has probably been there for quite some time but none of us discovered it until one of the rage deleters went to reinstall. I mean really who goes to the PSN store and looks up dust? When is the last time you even talked to someone in game that had just downloaded the game?
