I don't have a PC, but could (maybe) built one if I knew CCP would be ready to focus on this platform and go for it all the way. Right now, they just idle in between, presenting a prototypes they aren't even sure they would be able to make work properly. They have done it wrong. Still trying to create Hype at Fanfest, resulting in frustration more than anything. They need to understand it is time to change the communication method. Kitten the hype and secrets. It work for a game you launch complete, but not for something in development. DUST or LEGION need to be decided quickly from upper management, take a path, make a move and deal with consequences. What if Legion is full of bug for a full year, will they release another EVE shoot in da face on Wii U? Show how serious you are about this. Was it so hard to say 4-6 month ago : Well guys, we worked on those various projects and there is no way we can integrate those with the PS3 limitations. Do we go PS4 or PC?Get some responses, then take a dive. Anyway. I'll still play DUST for a while since that is my only game. I might just go and change my hobby.

On the one hand, we don't want DUST on the PS3 to fall on the way side. But on the other hand, we want CCP to get Legion on the PC right this time. There is a bit of a middle-ground here. While it will likely be hard to move code between the two games, many assets should be able to exist on both engines. I agree the great majority of CCP Shanghai's dev power should focus on Legion development, but in all likelihood many things made for Legion can also appear on Dust 514. Don't go expecting PvE, but sockets, sounds, and weapons might well be trivially portable. That means while they can build Legion and Valkyrie with that in mind and code both games to allow them to be "linked", eve online is a different story. it wasnt built with a fps or flight sim in mind and presents problems. Its a lot easier to build something from scratch than it is to build three separate unrelated things and then somehow merge them together after the fact. If CCP wants to have all three games related and linked together, then they need to stop thinking of their vision as three separate games. They need to go back, start from scratch, and say "this is our vision" and build a game according to that. In this case it'd be one game, that's an fps, flight sim, and scifi mmo. not three separate games linked together with twistie ties and shoe laces
