Thought I would take this opportunity to ask 2 questions that have been pressing on my brain. I understand the whole 'NDA' business, and that until you guys get a 'green light' you physically don't know a lot of the answers to pressing questions, but I have two questions:
1) In the event of a RED light on project legion... what does that mean? Back to the drawing board or will Dust 514 work resume and the ps3 will be stretched until it melts? OR, will it be left the way it is regardless?
2) In the event of a GREEN light, it has been said that developers will continue to work on Dust. Does this mean the team will split and there will be dedicated developers to both games, or devs at CCP Shanghai will split their time between the two, of course prioritising Legion? If it is the former, would you be able to give us a list of Devs that will be working on each?

They told dust will have same team, but its smaller part.
Meaning is slower progress if you can name it like that.
Without all that CCP non sence, dust will slowly die.

What needs to be done is a set of things they plan to accomplish for Dust before going full-legion.
Once that's done they can transfer.
When Dust is ashes, then you will have my permission to Dance.

They don't have a choice. Showing Legion signalled the death of Dust. I can garuntee Dusts pop. will slowly reduce after players find out that the battles they fight are completely pointless.
That, and the fact that what was expected for Dust (PVE, Player Economy) wasn't even touched discussed at fanfest.
Pretty sure they've already greenlit Legion. |

I have a bad feeling that you're right.
On the one hand, we don't want DUST on the PS3 to fall on the way side. But on the other hand, we want CCP to get Legion on the PC right this time.

Yes, it makes no sense to develop a game that is basically inferior and at that point would lose players to other games or to Legion. Also splitting teams would seem to hurt dev for Legion. Imo either stop development for Dust or outsource it to a different developer , no reason making Dust a TF2 on consoles or COD on PC if Legion comes out. |

How could anyone be surprised at this point that CCP either doesn't know what the hell they are doing, period, or horribly miscalculated about the reaction to this announcement.
As for going full bore on legion, they may as well. They just killed Dust whether that was their intention or not so it's not going to be financially viable for them anyway.
