She said the playerbase can go screw itself and left to go get a drink and a massage. just to clarify i never said the playerbase can go screw itself nor did i ever laugh at you.

Actually you're right. How could we have ever expected an unelected council of yes men to represent us? By that standard CCP might as well hire them.

They did try to tell CCP not to announce EVE: Legion at Fanfest.
Oh wow what an act of principle.
They folded like rice paper.

Resign

Well CCP would understand the gravity of their mistake, and the player base would have known something was up and stopped wasting our money on this piece of abondonware

And it's console fan base. CCP screwed us over hard. If the CPM where so powerless to stop this, then what the hell was their purpose in the first place? Better to resign that be the embarrassment they ended up being.

Who is to say the CPM didn't want EVE: Legion? I'm pretty sure most of them did want EVE: Legion.
Which is exactly why they should all be fired

Ulysses Knapse wrote: Why? Because they actually care about Dust 514's future and don't share your selfish opinion?
Yeah, gee, that's a great reason to force them to resign.
Do you need a history lesson? The entire point of Dust on consoles as opposed to PC was a new player base, tapping into the gamers who are intrigued by stories from EVE but too intimidated/not dedicated enough to play it. It was a way for them to have an impact in the virtual universe of EVE without watering down EVE so they could play that.
This move is purely for EVE players. Legion will become just another expansion for EVE in 3-4 years when it actually comes out. Legion isn't a step towards the vision of dust, its a betrayal of the entire point of dust in the first place. Who was the CPM? PC gamers who couldn't represent that vision or keep CCP focused on it. They failed their job and don't deserve apologies. It's not my selfish opinion or ego at stake here, it's the soul of Dust thats been killed to appease EVE players who don't understand how brilliant the original idea of dust was.

Then I feel sorry for you. You are either too narrow minded to see the genius of the CCP that was, or maybe just choose not to to keep all this convenient for you.

I can assure you with 100% certainty they would not abandon the concept of the CPM. Thats pretty much unthinkable.

Almost as pointless as the CPM is in the first place.
If they're pointless, fire them.
