Actually, in 4 years they recoded to the legendarily bad and wretched PS3 code that even Sony openly and publicly admits is the worst coding language to ever exist, and caused them to lose dozens of exclusives and have to throw wads of cash at devs like CCP just to get some exclusives to make owning a PS3 have a point. Hence they turned the PS4 into a baby PC that codes in PC language. This alone is a herculean task for even the most experienced dev team, and one I can imagine CCP regrets to this day. You just said turned the PS4 into a PC.... which they cant code for LOLOLOL

I have a PC. They're gonna take this lobby shooter and put it on a PC lol and yet cant put it on the PS4. Then increase sub amounts and make DUST / Legion Subased with your EVE account and then take ten years to make it a substandard game by today's standards.

No matter if its on PC or any other platform your DUST 514/ Legion Char. is irrelevant and I ll tell you why.
1) Faction warfare: you dont even fight for the same NPC Faction Corp as your EVE corp mates do .Whatever you do For the Imperial Guard for example neither helps/hurts you corp EVE side. There is no benefit to your corporation standing even in that same empire. So you could fight forever for the Imperial Guard and there is no upside to that.For your EVE militia corpmates.
2) Manufacturing: There is nothing planet side that you the DUST player/corp as far as resources that helps to create anything in EVE or DUST
3) District ownership: as stated in point 2 there are no resources for you to gather. An Eve player can do PI but it doesn't matter if you own the district or not.Your DUST char cant charge the PI EVE player rent to be on your land. Baring that ,most EVE players give **** all about PI.
4) DUST corps cant own or set tax on POCO's (player owned custom offices) and cant set a tax rate on the POCO to generate revenue from the planet .
5) Cant fire into space to defend the POCO if it does come under attack EVE side.

Are you saying that because these traits don't exist in the current iteration of DUST (actually #1 DOES have an effect on EVE FW) that they WON'T be added to LEGION? Because actually....yes go watch the 'sand in the sandbox' presentation. #2 is actually pretty much going to be a loot gathering system at lauch, 'with possibilities being looked at down the road" #3 mentioned that district ownership would give you youre own personal sandbox to loot in, add defenses blah blah blah #4 POCOs weren't really discussed, but it wouldn't be that hard to code because they can just copy/paste the eve mechanics for that #5 why wouldn't they? I mean surface to space cannons could be part of the district defense. Its far too early to tell. But super easy to be a spergerking. So yeah. Is that what you were trying to say?
None of that was shown your going off speculation .I know DUST has been in Development since before October 6 2009. Did they give you a time line when these features would be implemented for Legion in that keynote? or are you speculating?

I own a PC get off the high horse ,and in retrospect apparently the company who's balls you are firmly attached to by the mouth went to the "peasants" to generate revenue to get this concept to where it is today.
