You people are nothing better than fools if you think it was a wise move for CCP to pull itself out of the console market.
How many millions of copies of Eve do they sell? How much did they make off Dust514? As far as I've seen, they don't even release that financial information to the public.

Okay, so this says they had 500K subscribers in 2013. That's what, a million or two dollars a year?
You guys know how Eve ISK made Dust ISK look like pocket change?
THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT THE CONSOLE INDUSTRY MAKES CCP LOOK.
Nintendo made $68.5 million last year.
Sony made $458 million.
Microsoft and Apple's profits are in the billions, because the cell phone app market is rapidly overtaking the video game console industry.
CCP doesn't even release its financial information. The highest you hear them dealing in is a couple million dollars.
Pulling out of the console industry was a cowardly and foolish move that will be less profitable. PERIOD.

Jesus Christ. I guess they do make quite a bit off their little Eve game.
But $70 million profit is still pocket change compared to the industry they're pulling their assets out from.
If you're wondering why I'm comparing annual PROFIT (not income) of CCP to the console industry giants, then perhaps you need to take a 101 course in logic.

Unless they plan on manufacturing their own line of PCs or other hardware, it's not a flawed argument.
The point is they are pulling their assets out of the console industry and banking on the PC gaming one instead.
In effect they are taking their company out of the hands of smaller corporations only to get swallowed up by the larger ones, Microsoft and Apple. The computer manufacturing giants.
Please continue to awe me with your flawed logic.

Mario Bros is still, TO THIS DAY, second only to Tetris (& Wii Sports, both Nintendo titles) as the best selling video game of all time and Minecraft doesn't ******* count because video gaming wasn't as popular back then and it only sold 9 million more than Mario Bros.
