These are expectations that I personally have of CCP if they want to retain me as a customer.
Disclosure:
I am a long time eve player and I PREFER PC FPS. However I am among the most angry of people because I totally bought into the "laser focused on PS3" idea. CCP told us from early beta that the PS3 could do everything they promised, despite our early concerns.
Now I have to admit I am excited about Legion, only because it is what we were promised for DUST.
My expectations:
CCP will FULLY transfer all of our efforts on our current characters to our new ones. We need to know we can keep playing DUST for now and our accomplishments won't be in vain. I think the community expects a promise from CCP to this regard.
CCP will continue to truly support DUST for anyone who only has a PS3 and doesn't want or can't afford a next gen console or Gaming PC. I understand CCP might not be able to do the grand things they wanted to on the PS3 but any assets or improvements from Legion (EG: weapons, suits, equipment, maps) which can be brought over to DUST should be. I understand if textures and models and stuff are scaled down for PS3. I already play with my settings on low because the PS3 can't handle your game on High.
CCP will become INFINITELY more transparent about Dust and Legion from now-on. After supporting your game since the early beta, I expect to have much better communication about the development of the new game. I hate that you think you need a CPM to communicate with this tiny tiny community you have. Every dev should have mandatory forum time where they literally spend an hour every day just posting on the forums, any threads they can find. I hate to bring up WoW, but at least their blues post EVERY. DAY. PS: DEV IRC is bullshit. Forums are the effective way to communicate because your statements are recorded and organized.
I welcome anyone posting their own feelings or expectations in this thread. I encourage people to not block quote my entire post to reply to it, but feel free to comment or expand on my ideas. Please remember I am sharing MY opinion so I'm not really open to suggestions or feedback, nor is that what I'm asking for. I want to see your ideas, though :) |

Can you link these articles? I'm curious to read anything new because CCP has made a few contradicting statements during the last couple of days and I've seen a lot of places printing CCPs press release. |

Any thoughts from anyone? What does CCP need to do to keep you as a customer? I won't settle for less than perfection if they want any dollars from me. |

Simply Ps4 instead of PC for me and my mates, that's it. Legion is the game we wanted; we started playing Dust because it was promised to be like what Legion is going to be now. Before you say ps3 couldn't handle it, yes, you're right. They often said they would have upgraded Dust to the new gen consolle when they got everything fixed on ps3. "Laser focused" on ps3, anyone?
