My expectations from CCP regarding the future of DUST and Legion

Disclosure: I am a long time eve player and I PREFER PC FPS. However I am among the most angry of people because I totally bought into the "laser focused on PS3" idea. CCP told us from early beta that the PS3 could do everything they promised, despite our early concerns. Now I have to admit I am excited about Legion, only because it is what we were promised for DUST. My expectations: CCP will FULLY transfer all of our efforts on our current characters to our new ones. We need to know we can keep playing DUST for now and our accomplishments won't be in vain. I think the community expects a promise from CCP to this regard. CCP will continue to truly support DUST for anyone who only has a PS3 and doesn't want or can't afford a next gen console or Gaming PC. I understand CCP might not be able to do the grand things they wanted to on the PS3 but any assets or improvements from Legion (EG: weapons, suits, equipment, maps) which can be brought over to DUST should be. I understand if textures and models and stuff are scaled down for PS3. I already play with my settings on low because the PS3 can't handle your game on High. CCP will become INFINITELY more transparent about Dust and Legion from now-on. After supporting your game since the early beta, I expect to have much better communication about the development of the new game. I hate that you think you need a CPM to communicate with this tiny tiny community you have. Every dev should have mandatory forum time where they literally spend an hour every day just posting on the forums, any threads they can find. I hate to bring up WoW, but at least their blues post EVERY. DAY. PS: DEV IRC is bullshit. Forums are the effective way to communicate because your statements are recorded and organized. I welcome anyone posting their own feelings or expectations in this thread. I encourage people to not block quote my entire post to reply to it, but feel free to comment or expand on my ideas. Please remember I am sharing MY opinion so I'm not really open to suggestions or feedback, nor is that what I'm asking for. I want to see your ideas, though :)

CCP doesnt own any data rights, Sony does. CCP isnt going to make a game and give a few players a 50m SP head start. They want everyone to be on equal grounds at the beginning. I'm curious to read anything new because CCP has made a few contradicting statements during the last couple of days and I've seen a lot of places printing CCPs press release.

Legion is the game we wanted; we started playing Dust because it was promised to be like what Legion is going to be now. Before you say ps3 couldn't handle it, yes, you're right. This game was designed to be a console product, and we were lead to believe console products were the focus of Mercenaries in New Eden. Now I have no issue with a PC port version of Legion but if there will be no plans to create a port to PS4 to include the Dust Community in someway than I will feel abandoned, betrayed, and pretty angry as a customer. I think another Would be a transfer of Characters as they said they would do in eve tv. This on is important as it helps my the time i invested into dust feel more reasonable, but I would understand if its not possible. Now I think telling us whether they are going to make a PS4 version is important has it leaves many of us console players left with a sense of fear because we have no confirmation they will include a ps4 version. So I think it would be a good idea to make a developer post very soon to include that a ps4 version of Legion will be a goal of theirs, or its what they want to do. Legion Request As for Project Legion itself, I would expect a game that runs with more balanced matchmaking systems. That it feels more of a sandbox shooter than a lobby shooter (almost a open world type of feel) And I would expect game performance to be optimized greatly compared to Dust 514 All of these would be expected given how much CCP learned from the journey with the players in Dust 514. This would help players feel that they made a true difference for Legion to become a reality. My thoughts on the presentation was actually positive, but I hate how it was presented on Dust 514 keynotes and overall how they seemed to excluded Dust as a game at all. This could have been presented much better with more respect. I am very excited for Legion as it will fulfill the games dreams, but I am fearful given how I cannot join that dream unless they announce a PS4 version of the game.
