It's hard to give solid proof for a game that isn't a game yet. I'm patient, and I've been ready to quit dust for months now since I knew it had no future on the PS3
CCP restored that little shred of faith by admitting their failing with the PS3 and DUST 514, and with their commitment to realizing that vision. My only complaint is with how they handled it all, that earns an F, every day of the week.

Some of us have speculated that LEGION was coming when Rouge was hired...and devs went missing.....and updates took longer...

And SOME of us have been through the Jita Riots.
The REVERTING of Incarna back to Incursion to fix the mess they made.
Presentation was terrible
But the actions taken ALREADY prove theres (perhaps too much) hope.

I'm an Eve player but I've also been playing FPS games since Quake. I actually spend more time playing BF4 then in Eve.
I played Dust a few times when it was in beta to see what it was like, but I was never a fan of FPS games on consoles simply because of the controller. I did plug in a keyboard and mouse (props to CCP for adding kb/mouse support) but it was simply not comfortable playing on the couch, so I never got into it and always went back to Battlefield for my FPS fix.
The assertion in this thread that Eve players don't play FPS games is completely false and not based on evidence. Sure not everyone would, just like not everyone into FPS plays RTS games. But hey if it makes you feel better, then more power to you. |

I was one of the EVE players with no FPS history, AT ALL. Already had a PS3 collecting (aherm) Dust though, so I didn't have to buy it. Looking forward to getting my face kicked in (some more) come Legion |

You sure about that? In the past roughly half the time I saw complaints about something somewhere it had "In EVE it works like this" or guys like you throwing out a blanket console gamers statement
For the record this isnt a blanket PC gamers statement, its a blanket EVE players statement and their ironic care bear habits with the whole "Im dying to fast, this was supposed to be a tracking shooter, nerf weapons buff armor" and the funny thing about that is the nerf threads never stopped even after that
On an aside does anyone else miss the old Rainbow 6 games before Vegas turned it into generic schlock, now those could be harsh and cruel
