As for me, I have always thought Dust was a concept that was better suited for the PC universe rather than console. I was not surprised by their decision to do so and I even understand it. I only played Dust because of friends that were into the game. It's demise is not something I will lose any sleep over. Yet, I understand and empathize with folks that were devastated by their favorite hobby being taken away from them. It is called being human. You should try it sometime.

you said you were a squad leader. this means you could have been a sgt. i gave you the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming you were a lowly corporal which also could have been a squad leader.

i do not doubt that you tried to calm folks at first, however, when you started with the name calling, you lowered yourself to their level. At that point, you lost your ability to convince folks. Never stoop to a lower level when trying to make a point and have a discussion. You did that. I can not and will not hold that against you as it can be difficult to maintain composure at times in any walk of life. However, leaders and those that claim to be former squad leaders in the military which you did claim to have been, are expected to lead by example and maintain their composure. You did not.
