You betray us for PC players and i will never forget this. I will never forget how YOU CCP USED PS3 COMMUNITY LIKE GUINEA PIGS, HOW YOU USED OUR IDEAS FOR OTHER GAME, HOW YOU LIED TO US, HOW YOU OUTSOURCED DUST 514 FOR DUST 2.0 FOR PC AND HOW YOU SHAMELESSLY BETRAY US!!
I though CCP have some backbone, some spine, but how i can see you are just pile of disgusting lies, pack of thieves who wanted money and ideas of community for your real project.
Just read this and feel our pain.
Shame on you CCP i pray you will burn in hell for this.

The rest of you seriously need to stop and reevaluate yourselves before posting some of these messages. We all understand you're angry about this whole ordeal, but the way the majority of you are going about expressing yourselves with vulgarity, obscenities, insults, and just overall acting like a bunch of spoiled children is simply pathetic.
No one is going to take your message seriously when you come off like some child who's throwing a temper tantrum. So please, if you're going to try and give feedback, please don't make it seem like the DUST community is filled with a bunch of angry ranting teenagers.
That being said, thank you CCP Rouge for the clarifications. Many of us were not able to go to fanfest for the Q&A so any extra information you give us is highly appreciated. I am part of the small minority that is supporting what you're doing here. I will admit, the way you guys decided to handle it is questionable and people (mainly the console folk) are understandably angry about it. They view their characters as an investment they've made with both their time and money and now, to them, they believe that investment is simply going to vanish due to some inability to transfer over to playing on PC.
You've made it clear that our characters will persist which alone is enough reason for me to continue playing DUST. I highly appreciate that CCP is at least trying to make the right moves here. DUST was always a great vision that never really lived up to its potential and most rational people will agree that it's just not feasible to actualize that vision on the PS3, nor was it ever.
Now, the concerns about CCP pulling a "bait and switch" are highly valid for a lot of customers who aren't able to switch to PC and yet have devoted themselves to this game on the PS3. I believe this is something that should be addressed by you guys as well. Yes, you're a business and a business needs income to survive, but to suggest one thing and then pull the rug without notice is a bit sketchy.
As for Legion, I'm glad CCP had decided that the only way to move forward is to start anew. Sometimes the only way to deal with a bad dog is to just put her down. DUST sort of became this beast that didn't really seem to be going anywhere. The technical restrictions put a lot of stress on developers in trying to give us awe-inspiring content while remaining within limitations. The move to PC will definitely alleviate a lot of those concerns which I'm glad about. My biggest issue with DUST has always been the absolutely horrible performance it has on the PS3. The move to PC will finally answer that, which I'm glad.
My only question then is: what reason do we have to continue supporting DUST? It's clear with what you've given us that DUST has, like others have said, "one foot in the grave". Yes, you'll continue to "balance, tweak" but with no new promised content are we to just continue toiling in the same semi-broken game for the year or more it's going to take before we see Legion come to fruition?
We begged and CCP promised to give us something tangible this Fanfest, something that they're actually working on and we'd see results from. Project Legion is in "very early testing" and considered just a "prototype" and what not. These are not things that we as players see as something that will be tangible to us in the near future. The few of us that remained playing this game had hopes that CCP would use Fanfest as a way to revitalize our interest in DUST. Project Legion looks great, sure, and I'm anxious to see it released, but it serves nothing in terms of maintaining my desire to support your company in the coming months/year. And this is coming from someone who was excited about Project Legion.
DUST has become stale and boring, and to come out and promise me a new game that is still in "very early development" doesn't really give me a spark of hope for this game. Who's to say in the next year or however long it takes for Legion I won't just completely forget about DUST and move on to a new product. At that point, I'll already likely have vested interests in other products and may care very little for DUST. There's tons of new games coming out for PC that have been in development for a long time (e.g. Star Citizen) that are still in development and may very well surpass what you're going to be offering with Legion. All in all, you laid out a valid long-term plan but did absolutely nothing to address short-term concerns about the game we are currently playing. Dear Funk - it must be nice having a PC and knowing you will be able to enjoy Legion. For the rest of us poor peoples, we hate you. Do not ask me to be anything but a crap poster when I am being crapped on.
Agree only fanboy who defending his beloved company, he will be screwed too just later.

Fox Gaden wrote:Regarding Project Legion, you are not getting the feedback you wanted, because rage over how you presented it has completely overshadowed any thought of the game itself.
In the interest of you not taking the fallout from the Rouge Wedding as a lack of interest in Project Legion, let me provide a little feedback.
Project Legion promises the vision that DUST 514 originally promised. We have not lost interest in that vision. We still want it. I still want it. I purchased a PS3 specifically to play DUST 514 because of that vision. I am now prepared to spend $2000 to play Project Legion when it hits Beta. That is how committed I am to the vision of a FPS MMO in New Eden.
Hopefully building it from the ground up again will allow you to include the main features from the start. Planetary Conquest might actually work, if Planetary Conquest income is generated through Corp members scavenging in Corp Districts. Having a market from the start will be very important. Having PVE will make the NPE easier. The proposed reformatting of the Skill progression seems sensible.
The game also seemed beautiful, and the ability to open up the full map areas for some stuff will add a lot. Maybe we can even have more than 32 people in a battle. The PC platform will provide some exciting opportunities.
I hope that anger over how the communication was handled does not give CCP the false impression that people are no longer interested in a FPS MMO in the EVE Universe.
Yup words words words BUT WORDS ARE NOT SWORDS
because what i know from CCP and articles around they dont give a fc[UK] on US anymore.
just go and read articles where our community is stated like "honestly how many players we have here" etc style
CCP going to make dust 514 awesome, yup like their layer focus and pig who can fly bshates, nothing else.

I'll be going to The Division once it's released, and hopefully a new MGO. While I agree with you about The Division and PS2 and look forward to the promised MGO, perhaps you should reevaluate Destiny. I keep wanting to like it, I just can't ...it looks weak and I can't endorse it whatsoever. I need more of a military shooter, not a sci-fi shooter. If DUST is off the cards, then it's Tom Clancy all the way.
There will be another UT aswell but for Tomie Clanc i will be everytime boyo.

This is love by CCP
CCP Games used the press conference for Dust 514, an existing free-to-player multiplayer shooter on the PlayStation 3, to announce a PC title called Project Legion. The team is unsure if Project Legion will ultimately be turned into a full release, and have repeatedly stated that the ultimate decision will be based on the fanGÇÖs reaction to the screenshots, ideas and footage that have been released for the game.
The fan reaction has been immediate, and largely negative.
Sean Decker is the VP of Product Development at CCP, and he told Polygon the days of waiting a few years to show off a game while hoping the fans like it are done. "Put it out in front of them, see if they like it," he said. "EVR [later renamed Eve: Valkyrie] was a perfect example of that. Legion will or will not be an example of that, weGÇÖll see, and if Legion does well, great, weGÇÖll continue to invest in it. If it doesnGÇÖt, weGÇÖll open up some beers, have some fun and say, "'Ok, that was fun, letGÇÖs do something different now and go again.'"
That still doesnGÇÖt address the fact that there was next to no news about Dust 514 during the speech, and the small buy loyal following that game has earned have taken to the forums to express their disdain. Decker chalks this up as part of the learning process.
"You announced the game you were promising us since 2009 again ... for PC... with no concrete plans what you can give the Dust players who have supported you for years now," one member of the community stated. "Heck. Had you at least that figured out the backlash wouldn't have been as severe."
This response is indicative of the overall community reaction to the news of Project Legion, which has been largely negative. They want these features in the PlayStation 3 game they've been supporting since launch, and feel as if they're been abandoned for the new PC title.
CCP Games hasn't done much to placate the fans on the message boards, but at Fanfest we were told that sometimes there are bumps on the road to a great product.
"I ran DICE for awhile, and the first shooter game out of DICE was a game called Codename Eagle, which tons of people donGÇÖt know anything about, and never would, and probably shouldnGÇÖt," he told Polygon. "I think it sold like 20,000 units and got a 50 Metacritic, maybe a 40, something like that. It was horrible, and at the end of the day, teams usually have to do multiple iterations of something to get to something really great."
It takes learning, stumbling and then getting back up to make something great in other words, and CCP is hoping that Project Legion is the game to execute on the concepts behind Dust 514 in a way thatGÇÖs much more enjoyable.
""And honestly, we didnGÇÖt make a great game to begin with. It has to be a great game""
"At the end of the day we want to take the things weGÇÖve learned from Dust, and yes itGÇÖs in the same IP, same place and all the rest of it, but we want to do some fundamentally different things with it that we feel we missed out on and that we didnGÇÖt do right," Decker said.
"And honestly, we didnGÇÖt make a great game to begin with. It has to be a great game. We did all of these things to try and, we tried to do too much honestly in terms of connecting it into the universe and thereGÇÖs this MMO piece and all the rest of it, blah blah blah, as opposed to, 'I have a blast second to second. I love this game second to second and I love it minute to minute, hour to hour, and so on and so forth.'"
So do they see Dust 514 existing a few years in the future? Does the game have a future?
"How many players do we have?" Decker asked about this hypothetical future. I told him I didnGÇÖt know.
"Neither do I, so thatGÇÖs the question. I mean, in terms of three years from now, if there are tons of people playing it, and people are really enjoying it, weGÇÖll keep doing it. And if people are like, GÇÿyou know what, thanks for all the fish and weGÇÖve moved,GÇÖ then we wonGÇÖt. ItGÇÖs as simple as that, and I think itGÇÖs true for any game service."

It was some time, when i left. I tried go back in game, (for my friend urban practitioner), but honestly im QUITE SAD about time what i gave this game. Under Ceco Macino, Sam Tektzby and Ducttape Tinker clones/personas. Now with this last name i go for full termination/biomass Shame on you CCP, his was our game..Ps3 game and you just used us for ideas and for community money for you really beloved PC players. I'll never will buy/support any of your games by myself or recomend it for any of my mates. You had potential in Us and you just used it for somewhere else. Do not talk about technical possibilities, MAG had biger maps with bigger amounts of players (sometimes with lag but hell, even with lag it was more playable than this rubbish), any B*shates about technical thingies are futile. You basicaly cant develop a game on Ps3 ad you know it.
For other players, i was really gald for our coop/fights on virtual field. That was you boyos and gals who basicaly catch me ingame. With my lost clanmates from BHD or an our coalitionists in past (i think dark legion/defiance?!) See you all possibly in destiny in few days or right now in GTAV. If someone want to coop just send me FI on SEN/PSN ID - CeCoMacino. It was GG with you.
And lastly for my friend ParkourPractitioner (person who caught for longer of all my friends ingame) - Boyo Im realy sorry, we will meet maybe in destiny, or in any better games than this. Dont forget AS and proud XJ
Oki i dont want finish this like stupid rant, i' ll glad seeya all Boyos in another virtual battlefield. Destiny is on the corner and later maybe on another one, glad to play with you all it was a good time.
Oki boyos seeya lator in mouth of aligator XJ *walkin on doomheim gates
