Since a transfer from DUST to Legion would inevitably involve a "respec" (all new skills, skill function, skill cost etc etc) what exactly makes Respecs in DUST a bad thing now?

The guy CCP is now abandoning for PC. The guy who now is both hurt and PISSED THE **** OFF AT CCP.

Forum PvP is the only PvP that matters, and I'm pretty sure I've won on that front, what with the, you know, not being banned and all. Being abandoned for PC was inevitable, even being abandoned for PS4 would have been. The issue here is how they went about it, and how they continue to push and milk people for sales when the game isn't going to really go anywhere. If I still cared about PS3 DUST I may have shared your pain, but I saw the writing on the wall a long time ago, and adjusted accordingly.

I'm pretty upset that I'm excited for legion, but I'm also pretty happy that I have no excuse to play DUST anymore

I can understand the resentment felt by the DUST community, especially how we found out about Legion, as someone that sunk a good year of my play time into DUST and spent circa -ú500 on the game you would think I would be bitter too... I'm not. Consoles would never provide a meaningful experience that CCP was hoping to achieve and for that they should apologise for that in some way, but do I want a refund of the cash I spent? No.
If Legion takes all the good things from DUST and adds in all the things we wanted (such as a proper economy as per EvE), then Legion will be awesome.

Legion is a GOOD idea. You just failed spectacularly at ANNOUNCING that idea, that's all. Please, for the Love of New Eden, do NOT let this project die before it even gets off the ground.
