I guess the first thing is do you guys understand why so many folksy felt they were dumped on they way all this came about? There are some legitimately great things in the information CCP was putting out but how it was done was a horrendous way to deal with loyal paying customers (some of which flew to ICELAND to celebrate your product). As for a technical question... what drove the choice of PC vs PS4 for the chosen next gen version of Dust / Legion?
We understand, and we always expected many players to be upset and even angry with what we said, primarily dedicated console players. I will admit that there have been issues in messaging, and we're going to be clearing up as many facts and answering as many questions as we can over the next few days.
As far as PS4 vs PC, we went with PC because that's what we've worked more with in the past. There are also fewer hoops to jump through when developing for PC compared to a console. I'll be honest, Sony has done amazing stuff and removed a lot of red tape for us with DUST, but it's still not a simple process.
Just remember, the door isn't closed for PS4 (or beyond as may be the case). It's just a door we're not looking for right now.

I just want to say, this is a decision that must be made soon. People can't be strung along this time. And if you do go for the Ps4, it must have a final release no more than a week after the PC. Otherwise the people that left likely won't come back. (I know they're a relatively small number, but they were loyal, and may be again)
I can already say that PS4 will not be an option parallel to Legion on PC before release. We'll only look at that door after we're comfortable on PC, as we want to get the game itself in a healthy state first.

I was afraid to hear that. Would release be the earliest the game could be considered "healthy"? Or would it be possible for it to be healthy in beta and then the Ps4 "door" would be looked at? The smaller the gap the easier, though I understand there would be limitations.
I'm doubtful that we would be comfortable looking at the console door again before release.

Some kind of apology for not letting us know sooner, and for waiting until the worst possible moment to inform us?

If CCP decides to release a PS4 version of legion, maybe 3-4 or more years after the PC version, will my account be there?
Let me say again that for me it's all a money issue, i still want to play the game and continue my story in this game, but i don't have the possibility to buy a gaming PC, while i would be able to buy a PS4 because it costs less.
It's definitely something we're keeping in mind and if it's at all possible it's something we'll do. It's just a little far out for me to give a concrete answer at this stage.
