CCP Saberwing wrote:I've tried to make this super clear - we will do whatever we can to transfer over your investment in DUST. That means names, skills, items, etc - where possible. The only reason I say where possible is because progression, skills and items are being looked at and there's no guarantee that they will be in Legion. In that case, we would do our best to find some other way of protecting that investment. I don't think you get it...
The majority of the Dust players are not PC players won't be play Legion on the PC. You pushed events and sales for these people well knowing you would be cutting (well actually already had) the support for the game. That's basically stealing money from people.

Artillery spam? Poorly implemented? Me thinks you mixing up MAG with Dust here.
Airstrikes in MAG had a looong cooldown (like 5+ minutes), had a smoke signal beforehand which meant people were alerted a strike was incoming and didn't come down immediately.
On the other hand, in Dust a squad can collect enough WP for a strike in much less time and it strikes immediately (there's a warning, but that's not of any use when it strikes immediately).
I know which of those scenarios gives the most "spam".

@Saberwing
Less than a month ago you said this:
CCP Saberwing wrote:We are still fully committed to developing EVE, DUST and Valkyrie. Lots of things will be shown around the games in the EVE Universe come Fanfest. Linky
I really wonder how you managed to come up with two blatant lies in a two sentence post.
Lie #1:
CCP Saberwing wrote:We are still fully committed to developing EVE, DUST and Valkyrie. As we now know either no one at all or only a skeleton crew has been working on DUST for the past many months and going forward there will still be either no one at all or only a skeleton crew working on DUST. That's not exactly what I would call "fully committed to developing DUST".
Lie #2:
CCP Saberwing wrote:Lots of things will be shown around the games in the EVE Universe come Fanfest. I wouldn't exactly consider the amount of stuff shown for DUST at FF for "lots". In fact absolutely nothing was shown for DUST.
Do you have any response to this because I don't know about you, but I don't really consider blatantly lying to people trying to hype them up for no reason whatsoever for good business?
