I understand where your concern is coming from here, but this is a question that we cannot answer in any form. CCP Does not disclose it's financials. Then why would we give any of it to you?
(this kind of stuff makes kickstarter look amazing; it's not like ks projects have longer delivery timelines than ccp lives by.)

We'll just know our toons are in cold storage until you guys get around to looking at the PS4 (or in my case OSX could work as well). Maybe one day we'll get to use them and that could be enough. even though you are effectively shutting out a chunk of your player base.
I know and understand your frustration here...and I honestly do sympathize. I was always aware that this was going to be difficult for my dedicated console playing friends, and all that I can say is that I hope we get the chance to play against eachother in the near future. tl;dtough nuggies

Lie #1: CCP Saberwing wrote:We are still fully committed to developing EVE, DUST and Valkyrie. As we now know either no one at all or only a skeleton crew has been working on DUST for the past many months and going forward there will still be either no one at all or only a skeleton crew working on DUST. That's not exactly what I would call "fully committed to developing DUST". Lie #2: CCP Saberwing wrote:Lots of things will be shown around the games in the EVE Universe come Fanfest. I wouldn't exactly consider the amount of stuff shown for DUST at FF for "lots". In fact absolutely nothing was shown for DUST. Do you have any response to this because I don't know about you, but I don't really consider blatantly lying to people trying to hype them up for no reason whatsoever for good business?
not an empty quote, CCP....

I understand where you're coming from on those quotes, and it absolutely wasn't my intention to lie to people. We are still fully committed to developing those games (as mentioned several times), and furthermore DUST and Project Legion are both very much part of the EVE Universe. Again, I understand where you're coming from and it wasn't my intention to come across as "lying" to people - prior to the reveal it was difficult for me to explicitly state the distinction between the work on DUST 514 and Project Legion.
Here's my problem with this logic, presented by analogy:
If you take the average guy and put him in front of a 20 foot (~4m) long puddle and he tries to jump across it, I'm not going to be mad at the guy for landing in the water. But I will call him an idiot for jumping in the first place.
I agree with a lot of folks--Dust 'belongs' on a PC. How CCP didn't know a console at the end of it's lifecycle wasn't a good place to start development of an MMO meant to be part of the New Eden universe is beyond me.
How you didn't know you were going to end up in the middle of the puddle, wet and muddy and on your butt, is beyond me. But you're there now. And the fan base you built up deserves more than 'sorry' or these lame 'we're going to keep developing' excuses. If Legion has to slow down to maintain your progress on Dust, than that's what you should do. Sound like a bad business decision? Agreed--but that's the situation you put yourself into.
