The CPM will (as per the QA after the Progression Keynote / Announcement) will work on both DUST 514 and have development input into Legion.
The ideal would be to have a CPM1 that can preserve DUST 514 and give it enough new features to keep it going, while Legion is released on PC and simultaneously on the PS4 with Character ports from DUST 514 to either PC or PS4 Legion clients based on what you decide.

I said it would be the ideal. I didn't say it would happen.
And how much of what happened was influenced by CPM0? All, none, partially? I know a couple of CPM members that argued vehemently against this move.
As to the future situation, the CPM1 will work on both games, as stated at Fanfest. Personally I want to se as many features in DUST as are developed in Legion, or at least comparable, with a dual release of Legion on PS4 AND PC with the allowance to PS3 Dust players to transfer their characters to either platform for free.

I'm really worried that good candidates and players stepping away because they're upset will ensure only rabid CCP fanboys or something will be chosen. We don't need people shouting "PC Master Race" from the rooftops on the CPM.
I'm with Soraya on this one. The CPM1 will have to advocate the Console players as well as the Legion Players. Personally I'm dedicated to convincing CCP to dual release PC and PS4 versions of Legion at the same time, and allowing DUST 514 characters to be transferred over.

I understand, but that's no reason to give up trying. The CPM0 had a lot of input into a lot of things. Whether they argued against, supported, or abstained on Legion's development is a point aside. You do what you can, aim for what you want, and settle for what you get.

CCP can't even fix mundane issues. do you really think they can do anything about aimbots, wallhacks, and things of that nature?
hell, legion is not even a confirmed thing, thats the see sad thing about it.
I completely agree, but I'll be striving to not only make Legion a 'real' thing.. but to make sure that it is released, or the possibility investigated until it is humanly impossible) on the PS4 at the same time, or within a set confirmed timeframe from the PC Legion release.
The Console Players who have invested so much into this game MUST be given something and not simply told to go 'buy a PC' to enjoy the game they have been committed to for at minimum a year, and in many cases (mine included) up to 2 years.
