That is a very good question which why I think they missed their chance to address it in the final 20 minutes of the 1 hour keynote they had. The first keynote just ended in 40 minutes with nothing more than a live demo. This is confusing.
I was watching a video of Fanfest 2012. They sad PVE, Drones, MTACS, more Gas, Ice, Lava ect.. maps is A Expansion of 2013 = wtf now we are 2014 and we have none of that = Im super pissed.

I'm theorycrafting that maybe this is all just a major distraction setup by CCP and that on the last Dust keynote they will reveal that Dust on the PS3 has been completely overhauled and finally finished with PvE, Economy, MMO aspect and all that jazz.
But then a part of me screamed at me saying "NO! YOU MUST KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS AS UNREALISTICALLY LOW AS POSSIBLE!"

dust is dead, friend. they didn't give us a 'future vision' in the dust keynote because there isn't a 'future vision' for dust.
oh, and did i mention that your character is dead too? yeah, you can't take you character over to legion, so...

Apparently not only does CCP need a development process overhaul, they need a new PR service.
This lack of purpose and direction on their part is going to eat them alive and they deserve this kind of feedback. This skirting completely over the issue, avoiding all questions and keeping to their mystery sandbox shows they have no idea the direction they expected this to go and if that was the case, you shouldn't have brought it to fanfest unprepared. Now you just look unorganized and distrustful.

I agree this is really disorganized for a Dust presentation.
So far, Eve Online and Eve Valkyrie have gotten a lot of attention while there is no mention of Dust on the PS3 and what the progress will be.
