CCP, I am requesting a full refund to all my purchases towards Dust 514 content on the premises of false advertising.

So with all of these threads on the topic , can you tell me that their intention is to make a move of this game to the PC ?
Why would they do that ???
Why the sudden change of course besides being CCP , I mean ... why would they come to this conclusion and can the CPM's speak about their knowledge on the subject or are they bound to stay silent because of an agreement ???
Stop asking for tiercide , your killing variety and the fun of this game at the same dam time .

How could they not see that this announcement has basically killed dust. For the majority of players anyway.
CCP knows many people keep playing partially complete CCP products on the promise that it will bloom like eve did. Except we get CCP laughing up thier sleeve "Whoops, sorry, **** you customers".
Essentially CCP has used people to beta test a game concept as asked us to pay for it.
They delivered only vague, basic gameplay compared what was promised. Then they have the cheek to back peddle and release on PC which is what everyone asked for in the first place.
Whats worse is, CCP are a professional games company, if the PS3 couldn't support thier orginal vision why the **** did they release on that platform.
The goals of business is to make money and support society by providing jobs and income (aka "stakeholders"). That paradigm does not mean you have license to **** over a loyal consumer base.

I'm all for Legion. But let my port my Dust 514 character to Legion. I paid for Dust because I liked what CCP said it will become. And now what Dust was supposed to become will be Legion? Seriously? I won't care about Dust anymore when Legion comes out. But I do care about my Character I spend about 170Gé¼ on. Let me take that character to PC and I'm fine.

they wont termintate dust but it wont make it to the ps4 and in about 18months they'll more than liekly stop supporting it due to low playerbase. the worse thing about this is i said ccp seemed to be doing their best to kill dust alomost 9months ago.

well you did know that the ps3 is dead right, the ps4 is doing great, games will start to dry up over the next year maybe two, but after that support will start to dry up and nothing new will be produced for the console.
in that time while ccp struggled to keep their game relevant on the ps3 other companies would continue to produce games of significantly better quality on the next gen consoles and on pc.
staying on the PS3 is a death sentence to your game, and it's obvious they wouldn't stay focused on the PS3 forever. keep in mind back in October nobody knew how well the PS4 would do or how badly dust would be doing on the ps3.

We all know the story of how CCP corporate culture went bad a couple of years ago and a Summer of Rage was needed.
It Worked.
With CCP abandoning DUST 514 on the PlayStation platform, they are basically taking all the money, pain and effort we've spent being beta-testers for, in my case, pretty much 2 years now... and giving us the finger.
To send a strong message we need to show we're serious. Yet we cannot 'cancel' our subscriptions in the normal way, so we biomass and demand refunds from Sony. (btw biomassing doesn't actually delete the character from the database, so GMs can restore them)
If CCP changes course you might want to start playing again (who knows), so you can send your ISK to my unused alt 'Nagi Taisab'. In the case you want your ISK back just message me and I'll check the wallet logs and return everything.
Let's show CCP who their boss really is. |

That is exactly what this means. Oh well, I hope Star Citizen slowly eats away at their Eve playerbase until CCP is left bankrupt and finally shutters its doors and I have never even wished for EA or Activision to go bankrupt and close, but CCP deserves it for this BS.

I expected BS and tears but not even I expected them to take the player base out the back of the conference hall, put a bullet in the back of their head and bury them in a shallow grave.
Technically it makes perfect sense, PC is the only platform which can truly support what Dust was meant to be, but from a customer relations perspective they just committed corporate suicide.
