Thanks ccp. I have really enjoyed dust it's social side has been really good, and the game ideas were great, i hope you learned enough from what was obviously just an experiment all along to make your p.c only fps a great game.
In case your unaware though, you just killed valkyrie.
Most console players prefer consoles.
I say this because players won't stpp using their consoles for legion, and now they won't trust you enough to buy valkryie on ps4, i certainly won't.
People who are unsure this is what reading between the lines says.
Thanks to all our dust bunnies, we learned how to make an fps now we'll take it to the players we actually wanted on pc,
We will let you play until this beta for project legion fizzles out until then there's one or two features we're not quite sure about and we hope you will play on the pc game we planned on all along and we now know to make.
I think that sums it up. Let me know if i missed anythin.
So thank you to all the players i've met for makin this game great, i hope to see you all on destiny in the meantime i'll be there through dust's death throes with you. |

In case your unclear ccp...
1. This is negative feedback, alot of it.
2. Console players won't be excited about p.c news.(what were you people thinking  )
3. Most folks aren't even watching your video of legion because it has no meaning for them.
4. The community has already started getting charge back actions against you- as in actual action not just complaints.
5. You should.be doing damage control around now-you haven't even posted a reply
6. The community is angry because: .no feedback about our game
.no mention of transfer of anything from dust to legion
.no mention of any console intentions for legion, even if it was only ps4/xbox1
.you just did an event that peopl bought boosters for.
.you could of told us that ccp felt it was time to move on from dust in oreder to improve it (as in what you are doing with legion) pn the build up to fanfest and that you were excited to announce something new, without.losing your reveal momment but you let people go all the way to fanfest-not good.
. It seems as though legion is the game that dust has been evolving towards but is nowhere near- therefore you folk must of been putting more thought, time, reaction to feedback, and probably even community ideas into- you used us to beta
. You not only used us to.beta but it was for a game most won't have access to.
7. it is largely agreed that legion looks great but i'm confused who you intend to play it.. players interested in eve's universe have eve to play, console dust bunnies don't have access to your p.c game. Fps fans already have multitudes of fps games cod,bf,ps,etc.
8 we kept playing dust because it hade a great community (which will go separate ways mostly not to legion) because it was easy to access your whole social group in one glance (you probably kept that but.who will be there?) It had the potential to become a great game (it did but you called it legion and changed it's platform) and everybody knew it couldn't stay on ps3 for alot longer- nobody expected to be told you wouldn't have console progression.
Maybe you were all caught up in the excitement you had in legion over the last few months knowing you can announce the finally realised version of dust must of had you all buzzing but for some reason you all completely failed to see that your announcement for a p.c relese wouldn't be met.with cheers from console gamers or that it wouldn't be enough to simply say "here's our new game" without news of effort in dust getting anything in the new game. You also missed the fact announcing a new game in dust's keynote was a bad idea... what have you people been on? really i mean it seems like you've all been sniffing up the office glue. |
