So what are you guys hoping to hear? What do you expect to hear?
Will we hear more pie in the sky goals that are unrealistic or do you think we will hear about solid concrete plans and development going forward?
Oh by the way as a side note - EVE Valkyrie is going to be using the Unreal 4 engine.... does that pave the way for DUST in the Unreal 4 engine?? |

They'll show us a bunch of concept art, Tell us the roadmap for the next 6 months (which will probably be delayed), have a build ready that has a new map (which is another desert map with .. *ghasp* mountains), and tell us they are working to rebalance some junk.
Then they'll give us new tanks, which will be in the new build, and tell us "more SoonGäó"
Honestly, I don't want to get too excited. i'm afraid if I'm let down, I might just stop caring :/ |

Of course, it will give CCP some devs that understand how to program for the engine, and in theory make for a smoother DUST transition to it if and when they decide to do that (I bet you they already are)
In general I don't know what to expect, just glad DUST is on the roadmap still

FFS, the bottom line is that unless CCP Shanghai is given 3x the resourcing it currently has, then they simply do not have the manpower or $s to do what you guys are hoping for, new EP or not. He can't just pull rabbits out of his a$$.
So prepare for a lot of expectation management about what they hope to struggle with using a tiny team over an extended time period. |

While the team isn't "tiny", it's also not as large as EVE's :) There will be some expectation management and we don't want to oversell, but what we're showing today is stuff that we're physically working on and isn't speculative. I'm honestly really excited to get to talk to you guys in about.....4 hours. See you then!

I'm 100% certain your presentation will be honest unlike the previous FF, you guys aren't that crazy.
However, I am also pretty much 100% certain that it will be a substantial crushing of dreams for large sections of the player base who are expecting things you guys are in no position to deliver. |

Nothing wrong with ex managemt in fact i will be more forgiving of plans that seem doable than the uber hype of last year dont get me wrong im clearly going to play dust no matter what but i do want see progress that is doable and well thought out .

Lee Adama. Apollo was his call sign. And are you referring to the 2003 series or the '78 series? The guy who played Lee in the '78 version also played Tom Zarek in the '03 version. |

This, I would rather see reality than some fantasy that we would all love to see but would only be disappointed by. The small steps CCP takes with DUST are the most important I feel. |

Definitely. I need to get around to watching it again. There was a spinoff series called Caprica that was a prequel to BSG as well as a miniseries of webisodes that took place in between the two. I think I'll try watching them all in chronological order this time. |

I think we are going to get
some engine improvements/optimization (not a massive overhaul)
1-2 new maps/sockets ( was one not delayed due to performance ^)
a look at new market places (maybe announcement that it us coming shortly after eve industry update?)
new/old gamemode (skirmish 1.0 with new name)
return of some if not all removed vehicle roles/modules
finally if they are very very nice min/amar vehicles/turrets and pilot suits(im hopeful but not sure as we have had alot of new models added lately so maybe they will be working on them soon)
that's my not too over the top predictions but after rereading it might be to much to hope for |
