American english is weird. The expression "I could care less" in particular. I mean, it's used in context where you make a statement about something that you really do not care about and still you literally say that there is still room for me to care even less about this. Why in the world did you not copy the brits here and say "I couldn't care less", you know stating that itis impossible for me to not care about this subject any less. It's weird and I would like an explanation that's better than the herpderp language variationsderp crap.

I always use the right expression and others look at me like I'm r*tarded. I believe the average american adult reads at a fifth grade level.

I hate when people say "I could care less". It's like... I don't think that means what you think it means.
Same as people who call a turret a "turrent". there's no "N" in turret. It's just ... odd. lazy, perhaps? |
