Sure I could nuke vehicles into orbit, and it wasn't difficult to do so, but I think everyone forgot one of the most important points of balance when they were discussing my nerfs.
To use me, one had to specifically set their suit up to destroy vehicles. I wasn't unbalance in the sense that my users had geared their fitting towards destroying vehicles.
While I truly could nuke anything that wasn't a Logistics LAV, any infantry unit worth the air they breathe would have easily killed me in seconds. Why didn''t you pilots just use infantry instead when you needed to deal with AV? Why did feel as if your 1 turret should've be effective against all builds of Infantry?
If you were unable to field multiple roles to counter different infantry setups, then you were slaughtered like a lamb. What was the problem with this?
Was it illogical to think that something that is specifically fitted to be effective against something should be effective against the target, but not negate it completely?
I don't think the nerf was justified.
