Umm, how so?

You attach the subscription base with Eve players...You know the playerbase that is 10x that of Dust. Make them pay maybe $10 more (or whatever) a month to also have access to Eve:Legion.

Bam you have a huge playerbase that piggy backs off of Eve, you avoid the pit that is micro transaction gameplay, and devs can easily pass from Eve to Eve:Legion as they aren't coding for another platform.

Sure it's a big FU to those on the consoles, but it's a warm hug to Eve players. Trust me the the FU that was given to PC players when Dust was announced to only be on PS3 was far worse.

Wouldent work for obvious reasons.

I know plenty of Eve players who got a PS3 ONLY to play Dust. Plus you could have those that only want to play the lobby shooter subscribe to that or bundle Eve and Eve Legion together for a cheaper price.

Those who would play Dust would increase tremendously if game was on PC, just from Eve players alone. Plus all those PC FPSers. CcP never stated anything for Eve:Legion. I'm afraid the micro transaction model is what holds the game back, it leans (or will lean) more toward a subscription based model.

Also from what I heard something about broken promises relating to the build deployment, though this is filtered through a few layers of guesswork so telephone game rules apply.
