Always be decisive about the time to strike. farm isk with my squad for 10 hours straight in pubs and still only have less than 5% of dns's isk. You guys say one thing but your actions do something else... You guys don't really want competition. You do not want good fights. You will get bored fighting the same people in your alliance everyday. DNS's actions are the result of what the leadership decides, something you will find quite differing from what the actual mercs want. But they tolerate, because their loyalty's and experience with how badly betrayers are crucified are too great to backstab (most of the time)

I want PVE and viable clone packs, so a few months down the road after the playerbase blows up, the competitive community will actually begin to get larger rather than fade as it currently is.
GJR you cannot deny that DNS farming isk or not, the ultimate result will be the same if we don't get PVE soon, there simply isn't enough new players. DNS is irrelevant to the fate of the competitive community, we can't change anything. Only CCP can do that.

Always be decisive about the time to strike. Seems like you want to stop fighting each other and motivate people to come together so you can fight and ultimately defeat any and everyone else so as to quiet the rebel rousers .
Nice plan .

I don't hate beers. It's just that you suddenly started posting as I was getting flamed and started defending me, and the fact that you're stating opinions that are not too different from mine, but with more aggression (which could be explained by the theory that you are my alt).
I may not hate beers, but I don't put up with him either. I nod yes anytime he chirps up and *poof*! he disappears! imagine that.

Nah more just used ya to get a shot in on beers, And beers is a bad player, saying your a good player I suppose its sort of a defense, but you are a good player, where as beers? does what exactly? you where a useful reference point.

if dns is unwilling to give up control yet still claim to want good fights and want pc to succeed... then I only have one suggestion.
keep your districts. You earned them. You really did and no one is denying that. You kicked everyone off fair and square and made the strongest alliance. An alliance so strong that it is becoming a game killer. Pc players who were in pc before dns are already quitting the game because pc was the only thing keeping them here. Your accomplishments just start becoming less amazing because of the sideeffect it is having on the game. No one can tell you what to do or how to play and your under no obligation to give your districts away. I understand that. So my suggestion is to use ringers. Everyone wanted to hire the best ringers in the past, which was you guys. Now I think you guys should hire ringers who are worse than you guys.
Give some smaller corps not inside of dns some practice. It will do wonders for your PR. Pay for their clone pack.. it wont even make a dent in your wallet. It won't satisfy everybody and people will still QQ but it will alleviate some of the tension.
Hell even get your best fc to lead the battle of noobs. They could LEARN alot from you guys. You guys want good fights? Make it possible to have good fights.

what would a few months matter? It would matter a hell of alot.
First of all you are making an assumption that pve and pc 2.0 will be out in a few months. Do not do that. It is CCP... Even if it does come out in a few months, the state of this game will only further deteriorate before it is ready. A force with alot of resources can help to alleviate and slow some of that deterioration.
Second of all there is alot of demand for people that want to get into pc. The only reason I played this game was for pc. I actually have pictures of my wallet where I wont play pubs for weeks. Others that have been kicked out of pc must feel the same way. There are other corps who dream of pc but they have no direction. All they need is a little push and a little guidance. I have helped smaller corps in the past. Gave them tips, helped them get districts. One such corp was shootbreakstab. It didn't last long but their entire outlook of the game changed. They spent hundreds of millions on pc and loved it. They even got another corp( their closest ally) more and more into pc. Subsonic synthesis a corp that has never been in pc before was starting to make an emergence. Joined an alliance. Started to get more and more organized. Spending hours talking and strategizing about pc before playing one. When it would take us like 10 minutes.
Do you remember those feelings? As a vet, it is easy to start to feel "meh" about pc but that is not the case for everyone. With all of this happening now.. I can tell you what they are feeling now. A buzzkill. Some say it is hard to get new corps into pc, and I am inclined to agree that pc is broken but another factor is declining numbers. It is hard to start a corp unless you are very influential. Not enough new players joining the game. The atmosphere of this game being created by its own players is not helping either. You can say well "why don't they challenge us?". well because you simply cannot expect a corp with minimal experience to face an A-tiered corp. They would be facing c-tiered, until their fc learns more strategy and how things work. Then fighting B-team and so on as they get better.
A few months can be a long time. Whats going to happen? More people will leave. More people will quit. I expect not all of dns is immune to this. Some of you guys might just wanna go out with a bang. There you go. Bang created. But what about everyone else?

AE has been causing too much sh** in his eyes probably :(
Considering everything kain has to offer AE has defeated in our current great war win streak, though sending all of them at us at once will be a war to see. If DNS splits it will be the next great war rivaling the EoN.-Cronos war.

You're losing me. I asked you to win me over by proving to me if doing training matches will really matter in the long run for the player base, not what negative effects doing nothing will have on the short term.
I'm talking when PC 2.0 and PVE get deployed, because trust me, CCP has gone this far, they will be. Whether that be in a few months or up to a year, it will happen and the players will start coming back regardless of what happens now.
I wanted you to tell me what this will have an effect on a year from now when the NPE is good enough to catch the attention of noobs and keep them around, when anyone can set up a competitive match like the old school corp battles, but not generate isk like PC.
You need to look at the bigger picture and desensitize yourself to the meaningless QQ of about things that eventually won't matter.
The ultimate question is, will DNS's actions prevent CCP from coming out with all that content designed to increase and hold a player base? Because if not, it will inevitably be irrelevant to the final result.
So the real question is, are we willing to give up our time and isk to make the wait more enjoyable for a selected, undeserving few? Perhaps. Maybe when I get my ps3 back LOL

I'm not sure it could be put any better than this.
