For those posting with sh***y sources of info, let me lay it down for you.
None of this is super secret info that you can only get from a director, this is info you can get from any measly spy in any corp mentioned here AKA drama knowledge.
DNS is the product of many vets that were at war (and many still hate eachother) that didn't want to play anymore but still get passive isk for when this game gets better. So we put wars on hold so most of us can take a break from fighting wars for nearly a year straight.
So, DNS dust side is essentially split into two factions (possibly more): (note: there are corporations outside of DNS that provide these factions with support, essentially making themselves a part of said faction, i.e. OSG) http://evemaps.dotlan.net/alliance/Dirt_Nap_Squad./corporations
Negative--Feedback
ERA
TRE
TP
OSG
FA
RND
HLP
Renegade Alliance
AE
NS
DDB
CAP
DIE
GAM
These two factions despite what others may claim and all efforts to close the gap, are fractured down the middle and are waiting for the slightest indication from either side to break off. There is alot of bad blood, multiple (at one point almost daily) occurrences of harsh flaming and arguing in alliance chat and in our dusters chat.
To make matters worse (or better depending on who you are) there is a HUGE portion of DNS that wants to see the two go head to head very soon, only none of them have absolute power and are the "black sheep" at the big boy table (myself included).
I decided to leave myself out any big choices or to communicate with kain in general due to going off on him at said big boy table so I don't worsen AE's position accidentally.
I hope this will prevent a few of you from rage quitting a little sooner rather than later, maybe you will see this as motivation to stand up to DNS and hit us where it hurts?

However, if I could change anything it would be that NS would probably be a neutral party if anything ever did get hairy. Its not their style to start a fire, and it is much easier and less costly to wait and see who would come up on top. Also you should mention that all the Elitist slayers are all friends You will never see me huddled over my acorns in a crane stance. I love you too reg

Aye ye pics or no did happen. I don't really have time to be taking screenshots and EVEWho doesn't seem to track Dust players. Sargent Nipples, Naviticus, and Mudflaps have decided to move on for various reasons with no hard feelings, but they are no longer associated with OSG. OSG has no association with DNS, so I'd appreciate if you removed it from the list since "Info for the ignorant" should be accurate, yes? Fine, but one more report of OSG ringers and its back on the list, aight?

It must be hard to type like this when your down on your knees chicken head. Good thing you keep your messages so short hard to multitask when your working the shaft.... I thought It was a little sad when after the old aurd of NF and IMP's (IE Kain and Beers) essentially ****** you off when you wanted to be CEO of IMPS or Internal Error. And actually lead people. It sucked too because I thought you deserved the chance, you had the passion for it. I would have fought for you while I still played dust and had your back, but now your just bareback for kain and his stupid plans. But why are you now licking his boots? I don't get it. if anyone I have every played with is spiteful its you. They literally told you to **** yourself and refused to hand over the reigns that beers had driven drunk into the side of a brick wall. Why on gods green earth would you then turn around and align with kain? Makes no sense. He never did anything of real value for NF, imps or internal error. I mean by all accounts he was a pretty bad leader, Hell he is more self serving then you and that is surprising and on top of that he is a terrible player, worst player in the entire old NF. Sorry dude, but you should be out on your own running your own corp kicking ass and taking names, not bootlicking some fat faced ginger with a god complex. Rally up your strength right now, train, farm isk in pubs, as currently, clone packs are useless. They will most likely see a buff in the near future.
Always be decisive about the time to strike. farm isk with my squad for 10 hours straight in pubs and still only have less than 5% of dns's isk. You guys say one thing but your actions do something else... You guys don't really want competition. You do not want good fights. You will get bored fighting the same people in your alliance everyday. DNS's actions are the result of what the leadership decides, something you will find quite differing from what the actual mercs want. But they tolerate, because their loyalty's and experience with how badly betrayers are crucified are too great to backstab (most of the time)

I want PVE and viable clone packs, so a few months down the road after the playerbase blows up, the competitive community will actually begin to get larger rather than fade as it currently is.
GJR you cannot deny that DNS farming isk or not, the ultimate result will be the same if we don't get PVE soon, there simply isn't enough new players. DNS is irrelevant to the fate of the competitive community, we can't change anything. Only CCP can do that.

I don't hate beers. It's just that you suddenly started posting as I was getting flamed and started defending me, and the fact that you're stating opinions that are not too different from mine, but with more aggression (which could be explained by the theory that you are my alt).

You cannot expect someone with less than 10 hours of pc practice to come in and give you a challenge without a little help. Regarding that other post, I am wayyy to lazy to set that up. If I wasn't I would be in Dust Uni rather than in a try hard for the fortune corp.
Though that would indeed be a step in the right direction, but a few months down the road when PVE and PC 2.0 comes out, will what little practice we have given them really matter?
I'm seriously considering it btw win me over

As far as I'm aware DNSBlack isn't one for bullsh**. Doubt he will bother with dust anymore or pick the side "seemly most likely" to win, and the one with more mature leaders, ERA. AE has been causing too much sh** in his eyes probably :(
Considering everything kain has to offer AE has defeated in our current great war win streak, though sending all of them at us at once will be a war to see. If DNS splits it will be the next great war rivaling the EoN.-Cronos war.

General John Ripper wrote: what would a few months matter? It would matter a hell of alot.
First of all you are making an assumption that pve and pc 2.0 will be out in a few months. Do not do that. It is CCP... Even if it does come out in a few months, the state of this game will only further deteriorate before it is ready. A force with alot of resources can help to alleviate and slow some of that deterioration.
Second of all there is alot of demand for people that want to get into pc. The only reason I played this game was for pc. I actually have pictures of my wallet where I wont play pubs for weeks. Others that have been kicked out of pc must feel the same way. There are other corps who dream of pc but they have no direction. All they need is a little push and a little guidance. I have helped smaller corps in the past. Gave them tips, helped them get districts. One such corp was shootbreakstab. It didn't last long but their entire outlook of the game changed. They spent hundreds of millions on pc and loved it. They even got another corp( their closest ally) more and more into pc. Subsonic synthesis a corp that has never been in pc before was starting to make an emergence. Joined an alliance. Started to get more and more organized. Spending hours talking and strategizing about pc before playing one. When it would take us like 10 minutes.
Do you remember those feelings? As a vet, it is easy to start to feel "meh" about pc but that is not the case for everyone. With all of this happening now.. I can tell you what they are feeling now. A buzzkill. Some say it is hard to get new corps into pc, and I am inclined to agree that pc is broken but another factor is declining numbers. It is hard to start a corp unless you are very influential. Not enough new players joining the game. The atmosphere of this game being created by its own players is not helping either. You can say well "why don't they challenge us?". well because you simply cannot expect a corp with minimal experience to face an A-tiered corp. They would be facing c-tiered, until their fc learns more strategy and how things work. Then fighting B-team and so on as they get better.
A few months can be a long time. Whats going to happen? More people will leave. More people will quit. I expect not all of dns is immune to this. Some of you guys might just wanna go out with a bang. There you go. Bang created. But what about everyone else?
You're losing me. I asked you to win me over by proving to me if doing training matches will really matter in the long run for the player base, not what negative effects doing nothing will have on the short term.
I'm talking when PC 2.0 and PVE get deployed, because trust me, CCP has gone this far, they will be. Whether that be in a few months or up to a year, it will happen and the players will start coming back regardless of what happens now.
I wanted you to tell me what this will have an effect on a year from now when the NPE is good enough to catch the attention of noobs and keep them around, when anyone can set up a competitive match like the old school corp battles, but not generate isk like PC.
You need to look at the bigger picture and desensitize yourself to the meaningless QQ of about things that eventually won't matter.
The ultimate question is, will DNS's actions prevent CCP from coming out with all that content designed to increase and hold a player base? Because if not, it will inevitably be irrelevant to the final result.
So the real question is, are we willing to give up our time and isk to make the wait more enjoyable for a selected, undeserving few? Perhaps. Maybe when I get my ps3 back LOL

LAVALLOIS Nash wrote:
^ This strategy has to potential to backfire if any lasting damage is caused due to DNS. Now that Molden Heath is conquered, those vets who aren't saving for the future are spending on a repressive pub war machine now.
Monopolies in general are unhealthy. They lead to stagnation, they suppress innovation, they fight to maintain a status quo.
The summer season is almost here. Thats when tons of people will be on break from school or have some holidays from work. Its a key time to target the game for growth. If DNS impedes growth all summer, dont expect this game to do well.
So shake things up. 2 Massive alliances fighting it out is alot better for the game than 1 monopoly refusing to fight to stockpile ISK.
Everything you said here is true. The problem is everyone in DNS are tryhards and when we go to war with each other we attacked ALL of each others districts at once, until one side is decimated, then a few weeks down the road the tryhard corp that got decimated is too tryhard to die and begins rolling over the B class corps for districts to regain strength, while the victor is constantly stomping out their growth until they decide to let them keep a little.
Wars between the major powers in MH look alot like the 1v1s in Kill la Kill, the fate of the lesser corps hanging on the outcome of each war.
Now imagine you are in the best sports league of your sport, and there are only a handful of other teams that you fight every night containing the same players for a year straight, you all have tested your meddle against everyone, and only difference is the team's are switched up a little everytime. Wars happen all at once, while peace is the status quo 90% of the time.
Ideally you would be defending a fair amount of districts per day everyday rather than being able to take several times the amount you can realistically defend at once, while only defending them when people have the balls to blitz you.
Monopoly's wouldn't happen if it was simply impossible to hold more than you realistically can all at once. The solution to that is a larger player base, better clone packs, giving attackers more of an advantage making defending multiple districts quite hard.
