Since I love hypotheticals, I will answer.
1. I would likely be very disappointed... after I become surprised. WoD took 6-7 years to develop and it didn't even reach closed beta before it got shut down. Dust on the other hand took only 2-3 years and it's already released with a stable revenue via boosters and AUR suits/weapons/vehicles. Eve Valkyrie is less than a year old and it's already almost at closed beta and it's looking promising.
2. I wouldn't expect any refunds. Normally when a game shuts down, whatever it is you pay doesn't get returned to you.

The time and money invested in the game would go up in smoke. I would be pretty angry/disappointed. Even when games I didn't really play anymore went down like Earth and Beyond or City of Heroes (this one stung hard for me...) I was just left saddened and beat down.

It would suck to mot be able to play with a lot of my friends in that game, but I think I've gotten more than what I paid for with this game and would just move on to another one maybe even consider buying a PS4.

Finally someone else that played earth and beyond! i loved that game! I think it truly was the only game i ever played where you could reach max level by actually just running trade missions and never going into combat if you wanted to avoid it. |

I remember people use to say that Earth & Beyond was going to crush Eve Online in its infancy. Some time later on, EA Games announced the shutdown of its servers.

disappointed, but not surprised... I would just play other games more often, it wouldn't really effect me, I'm sure eventually another game would accomplish what dust failed to do.

Ive been part of 2 game shut downs. It is absolutely miserable. Trust me. We like this game more than we know.
