I had an issue fitting ADV cloak with less than L5 skills.... Amarr is the scout you use when you want to say to your opponents: "Yes, you really do suck that bad" Double posting like a Kaiser.

You still have to run visual scans everywhere you go. .

Do double uplinks and a profile dampener, then just run around being the uplink delivery boy. You might not be faster than other scouts, but you can still reach places medium frames can't. And your stamina means you don't need to take as many precautionary breaks between cover or jumps as other scouts do. /timetravel Best thread of all time

The more I want to skill in to them and find out what makes them tick and exploit it. Sadly though, I am locked into one suit ATM. Commandos offer just too much and I need to max out all skills for the Amarr commando. One day I might skill into Amarr scout and use the mighty laser. Positioning is key with a laser and a scout has all the tools to get around to good spots. Amarr scouts don't need top speed if you have the medium range engagement mentality. You should never be caught needing to run faster than the enemy. You are Amarr. Slow and steady wins the war.

You do know that the skill bonus for the scout class is a reduction in pg/cpu of cloaks right? sooooooooo a 60/200 cloak, with lvl5 would cost 45/150, see the difference? Yes they have the same pg/cpu, but you basically can only fit a cloak on a scout suit effectivly. I use the smart scout as my map starter, quickly rushing to objectives, setting uplinks etc. Ever started a match, and the reds have D and A before you can get to B? Triple stacked complex kin cats with more stamina than I know what to do with.

Amarr never fit in the same as others. Their logis have a sidearm. Maybe the Amarr fill the hybrid role found in most games. Yes they are a socut frame, but that doesn't mean they should be the same as all the other scouts. With all the other Amarr suits leaning towards mid to long range combat, their scouts don't need to be in CQC, and thus don't need the best EWar stats. Instead they get the best relocation stats and more starting EHP.
