This would be pretty nice....
Sidearm only, I assume? No ADS while dual wielding, or how do you choose which one when you ADS?
Can you dual wield different sidearms simultaneously? Like my ScP and SMG both firing at the same time? That would be pretty interesting indeed!

Not to be a buzz kill but dual wielding HMGs is never going to happen. If anything the simplest thing to do, is for heavies to be able dual wield two secondaries instead of a HMG, or Forge gun. |

I think this should be exclusive to Assault suits. Allow them to double any combination of light/sidearm. Since Assaults have been nerfed to irrelevance, this would give them their own niche. They should be the DPS kings outside of a Sentinel w/ an HMG. But Scouts/Heavies/Logis? HELL to the NO  The double HMG Matticus mentioned is insane.
Imagine an Assault w/ Duel Swarm Launchers... Tankers and dropship pilots would have an aneurism screaming about it. |

They could simply say if duel wielding, no grenades and map the DS3 for the second weapon to the grenade button. That way you CAN fire both simulaneously or switching back and forth between the two as you see fit. |

To add to my previous statement, I do believe if duel wielding, something has to be done in regards to accuracy because it should not be possible for someone to duel wield/simultaneous fire and have the same accuracy as someone firing 1 weapon by itself because, well, obvious. Maybe a 10-15 % nerf to accuracy if duel wielding, but all other specs stay the same. |

This would be nice but it should be like dual pistols that are faster than the ScP but weaker and less accuracy.
To be able to fire them separately. R1 for right gun and L1 for the left gun.

Duel wielding would make sense for sidearms (on any suit) as soon as bot slots a filled with a sidearm. There should be of course a penalty to reload speed :) and maybe to accuracy as well.
But for
Light Weapons: NO
Heavy Weapons: NO
Just make it an additional option in the weapon selection wheel as soon as two sidearms are equipped... |

Didn't even consider reload speed. You would almost have to "holster" one of the weapons, reload, then repeat for the other side. It should come with a dramatic increase in reload time. I also mentioned something about the accuracy, like a 10-15% nerf since you can't be as accurate with two weapons as with one. However, double DPS so I think people would be O.K. with that. |

i had the idea a while back
if you fill you're light weapon slot with a side arm it gives you a second dual wield slot
so first one i place is right arm second is left arm, i can then have a third one to switch too
helps define roles

Yes, I know. But currently if you swing you swing both knives. I mean using the bumpers, one for each knife

It would be good on side arms, not light or heavy weopons. And I think, to make it fair, there should be a piece of equipment that is expensive that let's you use two sidearms. Also, zoom should not be allowed. |
