Dust 514 would be amazing with bikes. Any type of bikes. For the factions like Gallente, air speeders or whatever and Caldari has wheels. In ambush, Bikes are given to the first 3 people who order it and that lets other vehicles stay the same at 2 per team. But, the bikes are very gentle (Ex: A Prototype Heavy attributes for armor (Gallente) and shield (Caldari)). Bikes are one-maned only because if two seats or three then it would be a LAV. So we could finally use the Medium Attack Vehicle (MAV) = (LAV). And bikes will then be LAV and Jeeps/Cars = MAV and finally Tanks will still be HAV.

Thoughts?

Edit: Also bikes have tremendous speed (Like LAV's with speed boosters). No turrets or guns either (maybe later).

You may find this news encouraging OR disappointing (...I hope encouraging): There is already a "bike" vehicle in Dust's inventory. It was invented when the game was in full production. It's a single occupant vehicle with handlebars and fatboy-motorcycle type seat. The few images I've seen of it show NO wheels, which makes me think it is a "speeder" of some kind, but there's no telling how high, or if it hovers, or if it was intended just for Scouts to run courier tasks, etc.

But, like the racial pistols, and the additional racial dropsuits we just received in Patch 1.8, it's a game piece that is "fully-designed" already, but just not inserted into the game yet.

SVCs, the other racial Knives, the Amar and Minmatar Dropships, and your BIKE, are all designed already, and will just have to WAIT to be given to us.

I've been waiting 40 years for new dropships! (Seems like it) It doesn't look like they'll be adding any new vehicles any time soon, they made me lose a ton of hope when they degraded dropships and stole my Eryx...

When I got on Dust for a month, I got hooked on the Dropship. NOT,... NOT because it could deliver fire down on ground targets like a bomber or Apache.

I liked that this goofy vehicle was given the opportunity to be back-stage supporting role in the movie, (where most of these games make your vehicle this bristling heavy-hitter). Being an "extra" cast member in this bold, different FPS experiment was inviting to me.
Then I saw the Prometheus...PROMETHEUS, .... YummmmY!
I trained and grind-ed for 6 nights a week, 24000 SP a night.... Learned which SP upgrades improve my PG/CPU capacity on the Prometheus...
Unlocked and loaded each module one by one, then finally was ONE module away from taking my Prometheus on a first test run-----THEN they recall all Logi vehicle bodies!
