If you would like to register yourself as a pilot then state:
- How long you have been flying: Veterans (pre uprising), advanced (uprising 1.0 to uprising 1.7), pilot (uprising 1.7 till date)
- Your skills in terms of aircraft (Incubus 5, Python 5)
- Your role, only state the following: Offensive, Defensive, Transport.

Well my name is "Aero" after all. I started this character with the clear intention on becoming an Amarrian pilot. I've been flying dropships regularly on alts since Chromosome, so I guess I fall under Veteran? I've been trying to be careful about skilling into dropships on Aero because I don't want wasted SP on racial ships I'll never use afterwards, but since Uprising 1.7 made the vehicle skills unlock all racial variants I started piloting on Aero and ditching those alts. I fly the Grimsnes and Incubus depending on how large my squad is. If I can cram everyone in the Incubus then I'll use that because of the front mounted turret, but transport always comes first when in a dropship.
Amarr are the good guys.

Got my baby rails at 3 as well, though I never use them. Also 1 level away from being able to skill into damage mods.
I do a little bit of everything. While i'm mostly used as an anti infantry "sky tank", I do plenty of transport and some defensive work. Best used clearing out those hard to reach uplinks/enemies.

State: additionally to all other vehicle types, dedicated DS pilot too since Uprising 1.0.
Proficiency: Incubus 5, Small Rail 5, the obligatory Small Missile 5, maxed out Armor-Vehicles in general but also very deep into Shield-Vehicles.
Role: just really about everything Dropship (Bomber, Fighter, Squad or Team Transport, Scanning, Spawn-Point and Firing-Platform providing) - as i fly them first of all to satisfy my "Need To Fly", even when i wanna make money i have no problem to bring just a dirt-cheap Myron or even just Viper Fit that incorporates additional Blueprints and AB, M-CRU & Scanner = huge ISK-Profit guaranteed! |

I remember the missilistic installation over the biomass outpost, it was 90% of the match yellow and how it was satisfying to fly over there for the first time.
I was learning in chromo, then i've started flying in the early uprising, with my vehicle alt.
The unnamed new build it's so secret that nobody know what will be in it, even after patch notes..

It ain't dominating if I'm ignoring the rail incubus. That's all its good for, fighting derpships. I'll rather take down a few tanks, couple of infantry, maybe hack a point or two, and die than having dogfight. No need to fight something that cant do anything else in the match. But yes, rails are the perfect counter to a DS. I prefer to kill everything else instead. lol. His next goal is to do it with missiles, then I will gladly bow down to him.

Been flying since the game launched in open beta. Always used shield dropships, kind of switched turrets depending on what my gunners liked.

I've got experience with all 3 turrets, (blasters less so lately) though I haven't done as much gunning since the option to remove the turrets was implemented.

Started flying in closed beta then took a long break from Dust514 and came back in open beta and have been flying since

Um, excuse me, I'm pretty sure last PC I fought against you I took you and your partner out +5 times while in combat with both of you at the same time, so don't try and cover that up. Why would I drop to your standards of fighting you with missels, which suck in dogfights (and is why incubi are master race) when my main job is to keep you from doing your job, and once you have given up on it, switch when it's safe and take over the skies. And besides, a maxed out rail incubus with a damage mod can take out almost any tank quicker than a maxed out python. Either way, you are a far better python pilot than I am so I'll give you that, but an incubus' rail can take out any python any day. |

Been flying non-dedicatedly (is that even a word?) since Chrome, but only really learned the advanced techniques by watching Judge's tutorials in the early days of Uprising and then been building up my flying skills slowly ever since. So take your pick.
ADS: 3, Python: 5, Incubus 1. All general vehicle related skills maxed out for the part that matters, and some for the parts that don't.
Offensive. With occasional transport (sorry, I know you said to pick only one)
R.I.P. Pre-1.7 Vehicles & AV, you will be missed.

attack Incubus (20GJ particle canon or XT-1 missile launcher)
transport Incubus (3 ST-1 or AT-1 missile launcher and mobile CRU)
transport Grismnes (2 AT-1 missile launcher and mobile CRU)
Skills : ADS 2, Incubus 1, Python 1 (yeah I know, thats pretty weak), max skills in armor, shields and scanner.

That's what I said, rails are good against derpships. Missiles are not, hence why I prefer missiles. They are the underdog turret in dogfights. I can take out incubus' with my missiles... ask your homie. I could have brought out my incubus too but it was not necessary in terms of the task at hand. All I had to do was keep you off my tanks and that's exactly what I did. You did keep me from having the freedom of doing my thing, but I was still able to get a good amount of infantry and tanks in between those deaths.I think you're a good pilot, dont get me wrong. But the post made it seem like we were going at it 1v1 when clearly I was ignoring you doing my thing. Want to keep the story straight. I will gladly accept defeat in a 1v1. Unfortunately my orders were clear and fighting you was a no no.
While you did get a couple of kills on me and the homie, you got to admit, I didnt let you do anything else... especially to my tank babies. I take care of my tanks. ;)
Remember, There are a few good derpship pilots out there... and from those few, there only a select handful capable of doing good in PC. You're part of that group. That speaks for itself.

Well I can't deny most of what you said, most of it is true about you keeping me off your baby duck tanks. I'm know missiles are better when it comes down to all around usefulness, cause seriously the only competition are blasters which suck, but rails are what I choose to take down enemy assault dropships, which is what my purpose is. Though, it seems to me that if I constantly shoot you down or get you to flee then you can't do your job till you kill me. I dunno PC is complicated and everyone fights/flight differently.
Either way, You are an excellent pilot and I'm glad to have a good fight in the air with some one who is actually compitant in their engines. |

You have so little HP and a single Swarmer can deny you (he has to be decent) and you just cant make epic lands like with the incubus
