Caldari would win, they have the most weapons (rail rifle, sniper rifle, magsec SMG, bolt pistol, forge gun, nova knives, AV grenades). Quantity aside, the rail rifle is probably the most all-around useful light weapon; good DPS combined with amazing range. Caldari suits are also very good if you know how to take advantage of modules like shield energizers.
Amarr only have 3 weapons (laser rifle, scrambler rifle, scrambler pistol)
Gallente automatically loose because all their weapons ind of suck (assault rifle, shotgun, plasma cannon, ion pistol, flux grenade)
I would be tempted to say Minmatar could win if it wasn't for the fact that most players don't know how to use the suits properly and take advantage of the speed. Minmatar have a very decent weapon selection (combat rifle, mass driver, SMG, HMG, flaylock pistol, locus grenade)

Plasma cannon is light AV, so it would make more sense to compare it against the swarm launcher than the forge gun.

Let's be honest, you aren't gonna be killing much of anything with a Plasma Cannon. Vehicles or Infantry.

Wasn't suggesting the plasma cannon was better in any way, or that its good at all, so don't put words in my mouth. My point was that weapons of the same type and category should be compared against each other, the forge gun was not comparable to the plasma cannon since the forge gun is a heavy weapon, yet Atiim compared the forge gun directly to the plasma cannon; its like comparing an HMG to an assault rifle.
You should compare light AV against light AV, and heavy weapons against heavy weapons.
