I think the slo-mo effect is decent in situations outside of the HMG which is why I would rather see a counter to balance it out for the HMG and add risk to crazy actions by a HMG user than to see it removed totally which could very potentially giving us back some hit detection problems as well. |

Do you not see how stupid it is that a gun that does insane damage, wielded by a suit with insane HP, can slow down enemy suits?
Which for the most part, is the entire reason not to use that heavy suit, speed.

When I first read the OP, I thought you were opting to remove the HMG all together. A slow down sounds vary over powered, it sounds like something no weapone in any game should ever have. With a slow down in consideration, and the HMG's effectiveness outside its advertised range, that makes the HMG > all. This needs to change, preferably not soonGäó, but now.
I'd say walk in my shoes for a day, but you probably still won't understand.
